Is this exhaust going to be ready for AMVIV or is it going to be like Phoenix again where we find out the night before that it´s not ready? My trip to Vegas is based around getting this exhaust and if I spend all the money to get up there and I don´t end up getting it, I am going to be pretty upset. I really hope Randy is going to come through.

I'm always amused by the demands people here make on vendors.
"If it isn't ready when I want, I'm not buying it"
"It needs to be ready to suit my world"
"It better come in blue or I'll make my own."
"He better kiss my but or I'll spend my money elsewhere"

My 2 ¢

Shut up and gpo make your own ***** or wait for a decent product to come to market.
Go elsewhere to buy a product and then quit coming here to whine about it.

This instant gratification, video game mentality is childish and accommplishes nothing.

IMO, you shouldn't base your attendance at AMVIV-III on whether WMS will have the exhaust you want. If the exhaust is ready, fine; if not, that's o.k. too. Should you decide to go to LV, try to enjoy the gathering of a boatload of Mini-Nuts . You also have the option to shop elsewhere. BTW, IMO, Randy is trying to present a product that will meet the needs of the Mini community, and he has spent large amounts of time and money on R&D. This is most important because not all vendors/manufacturers do that. IMO, Randy is not rushing a product to market. Oh well, just my $0.035....

It's nice just to have the opportunity to go. That's a cool thing to have available.
For some of us it's just not practical. read:expensive

Go, have fun, and take pics for the rest of us

I am not demanding anything, I was simply asking a question. When you commit your money/time to an expensive purchase and are reassured it will be ready and its not, its disappointing. I just hope that randy has managed his time and resources so people are not let down come thursday.

I am looking forward to AMVIV and meeting all the other mini enthusiasts. I am not trying to knock webb motorsports and I will continue to support them regardless of the exhaust release date. I think I am starting to take the mini a little too seriously...lol

Thanks for posting them again, I was sure to download them this time. Love to be able to hear it, can't wait to see the finished product. And cut the guys at Webb Motorsport a break, they are doing an excellet job at giving us updates almost from the comlete concept stage all the way to prodution. I aprreciate all of the info they've shared, but remember they are doing this while running a bussiness and caring for their families, updating us is a bonus. Its a little ways off before I'm ready to upgrade the exhaust, but I think those sound clips opens pretty much confirmed which one I'll get. Thanks again everybody!

The exhaust sounds great, but how loud is it exactly on a car w no interior? Mine right now w/ stock exhaust is fairly loud since I removed most of my rear interior pieces. I want to get it but I'm afirad it'll just blow my ear drums out!

Well, you could always leave it on quiet mode (It should be the same sound as the Miltek, which is fairly quiet...) then open it up when you want to unleash hell.

Whoa! That thing sounds nuts!......I like it! Also love the valve idea, just like the Kres-sieg exhausts! Just waiting on power gains and final price. Keep up the good work guys

Anyone got a Mac Friendly link. I don't seem to have the correct codec.

EDIT: I got it to work.

For all you mac Users, Control Click on the link, download linked file. Then either drop it into Windows media player or open it up from windows media player. The codec Problem will still come up but play it anyway. Also, we don't get video, we only get audio. I guess it's better then nothing.

Why people don't use mpeg is beyond me.

It was announced back in Aug 05 that they were going to develop it and it's taken a while to get it right. I was told a couple weeks ago that the last R&D version past the sound test, so I would think it should be done in the next couple of weeks. The problem is, don't count on anything anyone "thinks" in this forum, because even Randy isn't sure when it'll be done. I think that's why the thread is so long, because there are A LOT of people excited about this thing. In short, keep posted and wait for the official word from Randy .

Estimate on price is between $800-$900. My question is how much is install after that?

I think the big question that was hanging unanswered was how and where to run the wiring for the switch.
That'll probably take longer than hanging the system itself.
I'm guessing 2 hours @ $75/hr
