I am sorry to here that so many of you have had trouble getting in touch with us. The problem is man power at this point. I don’t think most people realize how many customers we have, and how much time each one requires. Our customer base has grown a lot quicker than the company, so we are fighting to answer all of your inquiries. To make matters worse, 95% of our callers MUST speak directly to Randy, which makes it hard for him to devote any time to product development or project cars. Some things tend to become priority because of this. Both Bridget and I are part time right now, which is another reason why phones don’t get answered.

The phone rings every minute of everyday (even Sundays when we are sometimes working on project cars), and we try and answer every call we can. If you are having trouble getting in touch with Randy, try PMing or e-mailing me. I am fully capable of dealing with your questions.

OK, now back on topic. You all will be glad to hear, the exhaust is finally quite enough. We will hopefully get some numbers on a non head/header car (my car) this week. I am also working on getting sound clips together.

I can vouch for the fact that the phone rings off the hook constantly, even on weekends, and everyone MUST talk with Randy. Brian is very intelligent and knowledgeable (and a great shoe to boot), so you can trust him to accurately answer your inquiries. Bridget is also great and very professional -- neither her nor Brian will steer you wrong.

Please remember too that Randy also has a wife and young children -- so those of you who are parents and know what's up please be understanding when your calls don't get returned for a day or so...

Now, back to the WMS exhaust. Yesterday I heard the latest version from outside and inside Brian's car (which has the rear seats removed) -- it sounds great, with an aggressive but reserved note with the flap closed that will pass the "significant other" test when cruising (definitely quieter than the UUC or Borla). It is also beautiful from underneath the car, and with the 3'' diameter it flows some serious air, which will translate to significant hp and torque over and above other systems.

Fantastic News!!! Congrats to Randy and team for taking the time (What is this, revision 6 or 7?) to get the exhaust RIGHT. I eagerly await the rest of the details, like price, where the switch will mount on my '03 MCS, and of course, numbers!

Brian,
Tell Randy I'm going to quit my job, move to Denver, and get a new job at Webb.

Depends on your definition of streetable. We ran one of the prototypes on the street for while on the open setting, and it was not that bad. It probably wont pass the "significant other" test(unless she is a speed demon), but most can deal with it. You will still feel a large power gain with the valve closed, so you may be happy with the street setting.

Perfect timing! I'll be in the market for an exhaust within the next month or so. Glad you guys took the time to get it just right. Good work. As posted above, we need the details (price, switch mounting, power, etc.)...

So Brian can you tell a secret? What Resonator and Muffler did WMS end up using on the new exhaust system? Is it the ones that Rusty Wallace endorses? Why, I talk to Randy at length some time ago about some SS muffers I heard that would fit his application. i.e. size, performance and sound.
I know, if you tell you would have to kill me!

Best of Luck!
Randy

Actually it's a custom made baffled muffler made by our manufacturer. Also, there is no resonator...

Ive been in the market for a Milltek exhaust for my 05 MCS recently but after reading this thread and hearing that system, I think I might have to hold off for this Webb exhaust! All Im wondering is approx. how much (I dont think I caught that in the thread) and how long would it take after it releases to actually get one as Im sure units will be limited at first. Thanx! And keep up the good work Randy and the whole Webb Motorsports team!

AMVIV3 availibility

Will you be bringing the new system to AMVIV3? To demo... To experience... To drool over!
