Drivetrain Full Flash via OBD2 has arrived for the MINI-F56 Platform

Any new progress with the use of JB4 and BT stage 1 flash? Just curious. Can’t wait for my BT flash to arrive and have been reading through all of these threads. I will be more than likely be using the JB4 for monitoring and datalogging, but an old thread talking about possible advancements in the use of both have sparked my interest.

Which app with Bluetooth adapter provides the most accurate boost / Map reading?
my tune on my countryman s is only reading max 12lbs of boost using torque pro.
im going to run a test boost guage this weekend.
hopefully, those numbers are incorrect.

As you can see for some reason I'm not hitting anywhere near the correct boost numbers. I've contacted Mike W.. However, I'm interested in seeing what others think.
1. yes the tune went through successful and this was the second tune due to mini recoding my ecu. thoughts?

Another log I took using a different app this time. OBD fusion
this also matches the mechanical boost gauge installed Saturday.
as you can see I'm only hitting max boost around 13lbs.
that's way off from the numbers the other NAM member posted.
again, I sent both of these to BT / Mike. W.
Just sharing them here for additional results.
I knew something was wonkey.

Could you add throttle position on your logs as well? I freaked out looking at your timing advance but then realized it wasn’t a WOT run all the way to redline. A 2nd gear full throttle run all the way to redline would be much better log to evaluate.

Seems like a stock file.
The proper way to log is to do a full run in a single gear, 3rd would be the best, but puts you pretty far above speed limits so 2nd would be alright.
Put it in 3rd gear at low rpms, try to stay under 2k, then mash the pedal to the floor until you hit redline. It's important to start as low as possible in the rpm's and then go to redline so you get the full picture of what is going on.

I received my tuning file within 24hrs.
installation process was pretty straight forward with the help of installation manual.
Could have added a 2 or 3 steps that was missing but no major dramas.
I haven’t had a chance for a proper drive, but I could feel the differences already in terms of a drivability and power. Will be back for more feedback. At the moment is all positive!

SHE-YIT! This thing is fast! The tune is definitely worth the money. Feels like somebody snuck a small block chevy in the thing. Only had time to put about 10-15 miles on it, but I'm a happy camper. When I get on it hard for ways and then drive normally I think I can detect a hint of eau de clutch.
Thanks to Mike and the guys at BT for a great deal. And thanks to Vinnie for helping me navigate that damned windows computer. Last windows machine I had was a Gateway. I also agree with Vinnie and jobea about a couple steps being missing. Nothing major, since
I had the Vinnie assist.

Okee-doke. Once upon a time, when you had the NM plug in box, and enjoyed it, you logged many miles with the single input boost increaser, which is what the NM and Dinan Sport are all about.
For those of us who, for whatever twisted reasons, need to suffer and refuse to pop for the ECU tune... yet, can you offer some "compare and contrast" detail? How much faster with the tune? When do you first feel it coming on? Off the line what do you notice? What, overall, are the main differences between the sport tuning box mod and the full-on ECU tune?
Thanks. And glad you're enjoying your "new" hot rod.
Oh, and don't broadcast too much about your association with Mini Vinnie. Remember, the cops have warned him that they have their eyes on him and his hot little red ride. We don't have bail money for two of you

Well, since I'm an old fart let's harken back to yesteryear... say 1962 maybe.
F56 S = Impala with small block, a two barrel carb, and single line.
F56 S W/JCW Tune = same car with a 4 barrel and twin lines.
F56 S W/JCW Tune+NM = same car with 2 four barrels and twin lines.
F56 S W/BT Tune = same car with a big block 2 four barrels, twin lines, and a cam.
Vinnie lives in a different country. Land of ice and snow and such. Excuse me for a minute...... gotta turn my A/C back up. Getting a little too cool in here. I think you can relate.

Yeah, another sunny day here on the left coast. I can relate. Do you think the jails have heat where Mini Vinnie lives?
