How about North Carolina? If it matters, I know that there is a Revo dealer - Washburn Motorsports in Raleigh.

also does anyone know if you can self tune your car or is the software only available to tuners? i want a tuner to do my baseline tune but id like to be able to make adjustments and such using my own laptop to perfect my tune seeing as a dyno can not measure some real world effects(like ram air)

Are there any auto owners out there that were tuned by Manic?

Yes. There are a few of us including myself. Very happy with the tune. As soon as I get the meth going I will jump it up to the race setting and get it on the dyno.

Great. I have the HFS-4 currently so I am excited about the tune. Running the JB for the past year or so.

The tune is only done by the tuners. Sophisticated software that does not want to be released at the moment as Manic is one of the few (or only) that cracked the MEVD 17.2.2 ECU for the N18. Takes Manic about 45 minutes to unlock the ECU.

Worldwide Most people actually have Auto Cooper's. Most of Manic's market in tuning is with Automatic vehicles. JCW and Cooper S included. So it is not a problem

well i can understand the unlocking being done by tuners, but will manic be releasing tuning software for the end user?

either way its not that big of a deal, i just hope there is a dealer near the SD area cause i dont want to have to go to LA every time i need a minor update(like going from a catted downpipe to catless, meth, nitrous, ect.)

Manic will set you up with 3 maps, and a stock one for the dealer. The kittyLess will be auto, so when you install it, everything will be two thumbs up. Send me a PM, and I will explain the details.
Everyone deserves a 300hp Mini!!!

I will be there eventually.
Hope more of you guys will be Manic Tuned Soon!
They are working on spreading across the US.
Make sure you suggest any shop that you think would be interested to Manic to aid the availability of Manic Tunes!

Interested in Florida area as well. I sent an email to them to see if anyone has contacted them but haven't gotten a response. I'd make the effort to find tuners interested in doing this but wanna hear from them first.

What kind of hp numbers can I expect from a 2013 JCW HT with this tune? Only thing I got upgraded for performance is the Helix FMIC and a hi-flow dry panel filter in the stock airbox. I currently have the JB+.

What does it take to be a dealer. There is a local shop here in Raleigh that specializes in BMW/MINI, Mercedes, etc. and is known for performance upgrades.

I'll stop by and talk to them this coming week but I would need to know a few details first.

I seen them tune one 250whp and 270wtq on the stock JCW turbo.
They got over 300hp crank with meth and race fuel.

If you go on the other thread. A JCW Owner got tuned. He dyno'd at 245whp 263wtq!

Did they get those numbers using only CA 91 octane? The only thing keeping me from turning up the JB+ to max is there is no E85 near me.

I'm going to start reading the entire thread and get more info on this, this is very intriguing, and I only live about 100 miles south of SF. Will be worth the trip if it can turn my JCW into beast mode. lol
