I will report back for sure. They just got them in a day or so ago. They should ship.

They'll ship it...I emailed them and they sent UPS...received mine today but not sure how to use it as it didn't come with any instructions. I emailed Nick at Manic and am waiting to hear back.

did some research to see what kind of dyno's would be found in Europe(gas is better there obviously). Check out one of the guys dyno's on this page. Click on his link, very impressive for a custom tune and similar mods to my MINI, besides the Forge DV.

So John, you might see close to those numbers for sure!
Id love to have that much power! I noticed he has an upgraded turbo which helps. I'm pretty sure if he ran the Evo Plugs he can get even more power out of it. I ran the M3 plugs and they were ok. The gap was too big and didn't like when nick added more boost. Evo plugs have a tighter gap that runs great with more boost. I might get a JCW Turbo when the funds are right. He got 258whp and 258wtq on it!!

That's exactly my plan is to get a JCW turbo sometime next year if funds permit. But I've looked into other plugs, where can I get EVO plugs from specifically?

I forgot the NGK part number but it is in my signature. You have to order it online from NGK or EBay. That's the only place I found them.

Check out the functionality and the how to video in this link.

I contacted Nick about the communication, anti-theft and firmware update settings on the SPS. Not sure if those are accessible to us or not. The anti-theft setting is what really intrigues me.

I think it depends on your application.. turbo set-up. The more air your push, the more fuel you need. With my set-up, I need to run race fuel or meth on Map C. On the stock turbo, it may not be an issue. I would ping Nick on it to make sure.

I am curious about this same thing. I have a 2013 JCW and want to be able to take advantage of higher octane fuel. I know the stage 2 setup is tuned for 91oct and was not sure if running 100 oct fuel on that tune would even help much. Was kinda wondering if I would be able to safely run the stage 3 tune on the stock JCW turbo? Wasnt shure if I would have to have a bigger turbo to get the benefits of the stage 3 tune? Any thoughts? I already have intake, fmic, downpipe.

The staged tunes are set up for your particular mods. The maps loaded in the ECU are set for different octane levels and/or meth spray. When you get a tune, whether it be stage 1, 2, 3... you get 4 different maps to turn on at anytime. The maps vary in performance.

Example:
1. Stock MAP
2. MAP A - 15PSI
3. MAP B - 19PSI
4. MAP C - 22PSI

You may not want to run MAP C without race gas or Meth spray as you will more than likely see detonation and timing being pulled.

Ok so I think I understand how it works. So with the SPS switch I can either go from my stage 2 tune back to stock, or I can change the target boost level with the "maps a,b,c on the sps switch. But the SPS switch does not allow you to go from a stage 2 to a stage 1. It will only allow you to go from stage 2 to stock or change the target boost level with maps a,b, or c. Is that correct?

It does not. I think its aimed towards VW/Audi. We don't have that setup in our ECU

I saw 258whp on a JCW Turbo that Nick tuned

Instead on an Accessport type setup, Powergate, or other map loader device that has to write your ECU every time you switch a map. 4 Maps are actually loaded onto your ECU when you get tuned by Manic. You have your original Stock Map, Map A, Map B, and Map C. What the switch does is you plug it in to the OBDII port with a map selected on the device and it will tell the ECU to switch to the map that you desire. It literally takes 1 second to switch performance maps. Plug the device in, hear a beep (finished), and remove device. You can do all this while you are driving also. I like to show people the power on the stock map (189whp 213wtq) and while I am driving switch to Performance Map B (215whp 241wtq) and then go to Performance Map C (Predicted 225+whp 260-280wtq).
It is amazing to see what 1 second can do to transform your car!!

Yes, as confirmed by nick. Would be pretty sweet to activate the anti-theft function.

Have some Dyno results on the new Manic Stage 2 Tune on Map C with the SPS switch. Was done on a Dyno Jet with almost 90 degree temps. May have to swap out the Akro downpipe for a catless one as it may be choking things off a bit. But the torque band feels incredible still.

That's a good result, just what you should expect from the JCW turbocharger. Great torque onset, too.
