Drivetrain Manic Motorsport brings us N18 owners OBD II Tuning! Solution is finally here!
Have some Dyno results on the new Manic Stage 2 Tune on Map C with the SPS switch. Was done on a Dyno Jet with almost 90 degree temps. May have to swap out the Akro downpipe for a catless one as it may be choking things off a bit. But the torque band feels incredible still.

Nick from Manic told me about a 3" turbo back system they are working on. Eventhough allot of people say 3" is too big for these cars it seems that passing the 260whp range on the stock turbo would require a bigger downpipe. I think even just a 3" downpipe with the jcw exhaust would help the car reach the high 250whp range maybe more.
Make sure all you guys put spark plugs on your modification list. The stock Beru plugs suck bad with performance. Get a good set of NGK's

Anyone know any shops in Nor Cal that would want to be a Manic Tuner!
We need one bad! or do any of you guys own a little business that would like to be a Manic Tuner on the side?

We have large DFW Mini Club here in Texas and I am pretty sure we have a few members that own speed shop with a dyno. We would love to try and set something up for the mini owners in this part of the world.
Yes! If you can find someone willing to be a Manic dealer. Contact info@manicmini.com

isn't it possible to just purchase the tune/OBD II device and load ourselves?
i looked at the web site and it says that nothing is required, laptop, cables, etc!
and since we can revert back to stock or move forward with upgrade MODS, is this a correct assumption or not?
currently running stock '14 R55 fJCW w/JB+
just wondering if this is an option or not.
Thanks in Advance

Myself and about 5 others have when the Nick from manic was here. RSW is a great shop.
+1
I do not see it advertised on their website
Agreed. I was one who was tuned by Manic at RSW...great shop and great service! Enjoying my Manic tuned MINI!
I thought the great thing about this was that it was done via the OBD port?
either way i will be calling today for more info..
thanks
When we all got our tunes, nick (manic engineer) was here doing it. RSW now has the equipment to do the tune themselves. They are the main distributer and seller for Manic in the US.
