Here is a new video of my modded exhaust after being on the car about 7k miles.

Enjoy!

Sounds pretty awesome actually. Wonder how much louder it would be with a catless downpipe. I'm pretty interested in the driving videos too.. maybe an interior driving video to?

It is a lot louder...and the popping sounds more like shotgun blasts lol. Just think....rally car? Lol

I love it. Catless on a 2012 and the Invidia catback. Thing sounds like a beast when you hammer it.

haha thats awesome!! The pops from the exhaust was my favorite part of the Speed3 I had a few years ago. I've been going back and forth between the JCW and the Invidia here recently.

I think the stock MCS exhaust is just as good as the JCW. Once you take out the 2nd cat, it is essentially identical to the JCW. The muffler is not completely different. At idle and under hard acceleration, it sounds just like the JCW exhaust. Plus, it is WAY cheaper. Haha...

Also, on cold days, the pops are fierce. I waste so much gas just accelerating and then backing off so it will pop...

So if you had a chance to get the JCW exhaust with the resonator deleted, you wouldnt? I'm asking cause I'm about to pull the trigger on one but wont if all I need to do is delete the 2nd cat and resonator off the OEM exhaust. Could put that money towards other mods. Thanks again.

I would definitely not but a JCW exhaust. The muffler is the only difference. A buddy of mine has a clubman with JCW mufflers and mine sounds a lot better, I think. You could totally spend the extra dough on other mods.

Hmmm maybe its just me... but I have watched prolly 50 different videos of the JCW exhaust without resonator and of the MCS without the 2nd cat and no resonator and to me the JCW sounds way better. Sounds alot more angry. Which is also strange because from what I have researched, the only difference in the JCW exhaust and the MCS exhaust is the fact that the JCW doesnt have a 2nd cat and the muffler is smaller. Yet when you take the 2nd cat and resonator off the MCS (making it essentially a JCW exhaust) the sound is different to me. Seems as though the MCS with both mods varies from car to car regarding sound and sounds a little bit raspy. Maybe its just the way I am hearing both exhausts. Which is a little sad for me :(
