Thanks for the quick response! I will give you a call about another bracket in about an hour.

Cut the hoses at the end to length depending on where you mount the can, the length of the hoses needed will change.

Alright guys, been a busy day over here at BSH, but I have some great news. We have updated all the R56 Catch Cans in our inventory to include a DipStick for easy viewing! The price increase is at a minimal $10, and for a lucky few of you, got the new version of the Catch Can without the price hike. (You can thank me by taking pictures ) Anyways, we are always looking to bring you the best product possible at an affordable price and here it is!

For those of you that already have a BSH Catch Can, and want a DipStick, I have great news. We will be offering a Update Program for the Street and Competition Catch Can, inwhich you ship us your Catch Can and we will drill it out, clean it up, weld it up, add in the dipstick and then re-powdercoat it for only $20 bucks + shipping. I didn't want to forget about you guys! Also, if you have a Catch Can with an older style Drain Plug, we will updated it at this time as well Estimated turn around for this service is 2 weeks, maybe sooner.

Now THAT is cool. You could probably empty the can through the hole with one of those cheapy squeaze ball type pumps as well. The dipstick also adds a little bling to the can. Nice job BSH.

hey BSH

I really like the idea of the dipstick. Looks like it's not threaded and only a push is in. Isn't there a chance of a vacuum leak without threads keeping the dipstick in place.

The dipstick is an o-ring seal, and IF the O-ring fails, there wouldn't be a vacuum leak. The catch can is placed in the crank case pressure circulation and under failure, there might be un-metered air entering the system, but not a vacuum leak. You will be surprised how well the O-ring seals without using threading.

I wanted to order one of these from your site but it isn't "military APO friendly" I did get one ordered through Nort American Motor sports. Are the ones the stock the upgraded versions?

You would have to check with NAMotorsports on that. I apologize for the website not being APO friendly, however I am capable of taking your APO order via PM/email or the phone if need be.

Just installed one of the new model catch cans (dip stick and o ring sealed drain plug) on my 2009 Clubbie S. Great fit and a very well made product. Nice to see a vendor taking user input and incorporating it in a redesign.

Looks great. I dig dig the dipstick. To anybody putting hose clamps on the catch can hoses. They don't need to be very tight. you will squish the fittings if you're not careful.

Plus I cannot freaking find out how to unscrew the switch because once you unplug it there is a plastic connector in the way that blocks the screw.
Wondering if you sorted out the mounting issue. I want to order the can, but I'm in the same spot as you...a factory installed alarm.

Just installed mine. It's dark so I can't take a pic yet. Hardest part was separating the pcv hose from the sensor, was on there pretty tight. Inserting the PCV adapter plug into the sensor was also a pain, but rubbing a little oil on the o-rings and twisting it on was quite easy. Otherwise, still need to install the boost port plug which should be easy, but I need the correct allen key. Otherwise, looks good so far!

I just finished my BSH OCC and DBP install as well. Install was pretty straight forward, with a small snag when I was trying to pull the old hose from the sensor. It didn't move much at all, so I took my heat gun and on the lowest setting warmed up the hose and was able to muscle it out.

When I pulled out the hose to install the DBP, this is what greeted me:

Thank you Sushil and BSH for setting me up with two plugs for my DBP, so I only have to run one OCC. Great service, and great OCC!

I have 2 questions questions for BSH. Why is your logo upside down on the boost tap and the plastic part that goes into the turbo inlet hose? And why don't you guys silkscreen a logo on the side or top of the can?

And lastly how are you guys that have installed the catch can planning on emptying it when its time do so? Take the whole thing apart and empty it from the drain hole?

What I plan to do is just unscrew the bolt, place something under the can, and release from the drain hole. That or suck it up from the dip stick hole, which I haven't figured out how to do that yet...
