sounds good....has anyone used the small ports above the inlet and outlet holes for temp and pressure guages?do the ports work as advertised...was thinkin bout getting a temp and pressure guage set and the pod that goes under the stereo and switches....id like to have more of an indication of whats going on than just an idiot light

Bumping this thread as yellowbritishrocket is inquiring about oil coolers again. This thread has a lot of good info in it...

Now in relation to my "low" temps. I completely removed the oil cooler core from the setup both for winter as well as to get a small weep repaired. Driving without the cooler, guess what my temps are....180, the oil gets up to temp no more quickly (as I would expect) and it stays at 180 degrees which is the temperature of the engine coolant, and yes I have an OE thermostat for the coolant.

ive been looking at different types of coolers and they all seem to have the same type of mounting holes....is there a special type of bracket to secure it...the problem being in the middle east right now is that i cant look at my car or the instructions that come with the cooler kit so i cant tell very well...thinkin bout going with a larger setrab...though i dont wanna go with one thats too big...thinking either Setrab/B&M/Fluidyne/Flex-a-Lite

Engine Oile cooler help

Any tips on replacing an oil cooler on a 2004 S?
I'm not able to get the right angle to access the bolts.
Can anyone suggest a tool?
Thanks
J
