To Belt or Not to Belt

This is has probably been asked many times before. When changing to a 15% pulley how many changed the belt too? And what did you use? I have ordered a 15% Craven which I will put on a 06 MCS manual with 27,000 miles on it. Bonus question- any thoughts on the tensioner strap?

+1, this is the shorter belt you need.

As far as the tensioner stop, not really needed if the belt does not go. But cheep insurance.

Yes, go with the NAPA belt. The original belt is most likely stretched out anyway plus you'll want a shorter belt to compensate for your smaller diameter pulley. He is a good discussion on the topic...

Belts are cheap..

and you be surprised how many minis are slipping at high RPM with the owner not even knowing...

I've tried JCW, NAPA 539 and NAPA 535.

The 535 is a little tight but appears to be maintaining much more than half of the indicator hole the longest. With the others, they eventually stretched to where none of the indicator hole was visible.
