I didn't plan to.

I think it is funny how this thing works the same for every car.
He post the same Dyno (if they are real or not) numbers from
one test, on a 99 Jetta.

Amazing. People will buy anything.

What the heck is that? Two wires in and two wires out... what could that do? The wires probably just go right thru the empty box!

See If you can get a money back guarantee, buy it, and I'll test it on our dyno for free. -Eric

Hey, If you're really interested in the Vortec, I have some flood free swamp ground for sale in southern Louisiana for you.

Yeah, I don't think I would buy something that they dyno'd on a Jetta...

Don't get scammed and fall for snake oil.
Ebay is notorious. Buyer beware.
Eric has a great offer though... tempting. I wonder if two of those would be double the power???
See what happens when you go on Ebay?

I tell you what... You've never experienced ebay until you go to their annual convention. It was somewhat helpful [company paid vacation...], but the people--> OMG! It was like watching kids around mickey mouse, c'ept the kids were adults and mickey was any object that had "ebay" on it. The sucessful sellers were reputable business people. But the majority of the flock seemed never to have seen the sun from outside the house---if you get my drift. VERY interesting crowd [like watching monkeys at the zoo---fun lasts for hours].

I agree totally with minihune, "Ebay is notorious..." Lots of scams from my perspective.

If the item was displayed more "professionally," it could be a bit [bit] easier to trust.

If you are not serious, please do not bid. We will immediately pursue legal action against non-paying bidders. Absolutely no exceptions!!

Premium fuel is not required like other chips and modules. However, preminum enchance the performance gains acheived by the Vortec Modulator.

I'm pretty sure this is nothing more than a resistor (cap?) that goes inline w/ the ignition to advance timing slightly...

(It's been a while, but IIRC that's what these do... some car forum once chipped in to get one, and they took it apart)

It's most likely a resistor that substitutes its value for the value of your IAT. It was a common track mod on my previous vehicle (the resistors costs $1 at radioshack) and yes, it does work. Should you use it all the time? Probably not.

A friend of mine had a partially clogged cat that dealer wouldn't replace so we put in a resistor equal to a very cold temperature and within 45 minutes of normal driving the cat was fully clogged.
