Anti lag is hard on the motor... especially the valve train... but yes also the turbo and manifold
if the Turbo is NOT ball bearing then it's not GTxxxx it's only Txxxx
turbos used to just go by GTxx but now there are so many variations with in each they have started using the full designations.
IE GT35 can now be

GT3582R

clearly says GT32's are jurnal bearings mate. also i think some of the larger turbos are jurnal only but still called GT. i think the 'GT' actually reffers to the wheel design not the bearing type.

PS. HKS used to do a hybrid GT32/35 that used a ball bearing core. HKS often use custom turbos by garrett though.

actually, this is about educating and providing the MINI community with well engineered and reliable performance options and upgrades covering all levels of modification. fortunately for all of us, the MINI brand and versatility of the platform has given us an unique opportunity to allow us creative freedom in designing and configuring components and assemblies.
