He does have a wife. She's probably too busy still helping Peter sign up new subscriptions for MC2 (Brian and Jan shared booth space with MC2, so everyone was all gathered under their canopy. Anyone walked up to ask about magazine subscriptions assumed that she worked for MC2, so eventually she just started help sign people up ).

turbos used to just go by GTxx but now there are so many variations with in each they have started using the full designations.

IE GT35 can now be
GT3571
GT3582R
GT3582R
GT3582R
not according to the Garrett website.......

http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...7_452233_5.htm

clearly says GT32's are jurnal bearings mate. also i think some of the larger turbos are jurnal only but still called GT. i think the 'GT' actually reffers to the wheel design not the bearing type.

Cheers

Chris.

PS. HKS used to do a hybrid GT32/35 that used a ball bearing core. HKS often use custom turbos by garrett though.

Also on the site under Acronyms

GT
The GT designation refers to Garrett's state-of-the-art turbocharger line. GT-series turbos use redesigned bearing systems and modern compressor/turbine aerodynamics. These new compressor and turbine wheels represent huge efficiency improvements over the old T2, T3, T3/T4, T04 products. The net result is increased durability, higher boost, and more engine power over the older T-series product line.
SO I guess it's both! LOL

real men can rock pink.

interesting tidbit ....100 years ago before Coco Chanel feminized it, pink was a 'power' color for men. A symbol of wealth, power and prestige.

There are more toys now. I will take a new pick tonight.

We have four kids two boys 8,9 and two girls 10,16. Lets just say they are a little spoiled

Oh ya, there is also me 41 the biggest kid of all. This weekend I'm putting on the pads and hitting the skateboard park with my two boys. Hopefully I won't break anything .

It's okay... then you can make it better ! So says me, the future orthopaedic surgeon (I'm one month from graduation and soon to begin residency...yay!).

PS: No way in hell I'd give a guy a pink cast.
