Drivetrain NEED AS MUCH HP AS I CAN GET IN THE COOPER S
Hey, what's up everyone. My name is Adam. I need my Mini to have crazy power. My two other cars Ferrari 355 and Porsche Turbo are both sick in performance. I have heard about 240 HP kits for the Mini. I even heard about a 270 hp kit. I came here in search of the people who know best. Please, I implore you Mini Experts. Does anyone know about kits like the 270hp kit? Possibly even more hp? Thanks everyone.
i don't think you're gonna want much more than 230...
beyond that point, plan on doing a engine swap..
as i can tell by your other cars money seems to be not much of an issue,
i say go for the John Cooper Works kit for your S...
look in the sponsor directory.
there are some good shop's/people that can help you out!!!

You need huh...no offense but you sound like a spoiled kid already,If you have a ferrari and a porshe trade them both in on something exotic and forget the mini. If I was in the position you sound like you may be in,I would look at a lotus elise or something like that or perhaps maybe take stock and be thankful for what you already have cause nobody "needs" a 300hp Mini.
The 240 HP kit I am told of is cheaper than the works kit. Also, I would rather spend the 5k the cooper works kit costs and buy something with 40+ more hp. The cooper works kit warranty is pointless since the Mini will not break from the kit. So I would really like to know what kits are available that offer more HP.
Seems like you should be looking at something else...
Maybe a GTR, EVO, or STi... you can work those engines crazy for the same money. I dont believe anyone would want to buy a Mini for its "sick hp's"...

Well I have the Mini already. And I hate those ricers with their wings and decals and crap. The mini has far more personality than those *** cars. And personality is very important to me. Anyways. IF anyone knows any kits, let me know.
There is no "kit" for the power you are looking for. You bought the wrong car for this purpose. If you want that kind of power, it will involve a lot of custom work. Learn to do it yourself, or pay someone to do it. Neither way will be inexpensive in the least.
And no offense, but you ARE spoiled. Not because of the Porsche or the Ferrari, but because you want a "kit" that will give you 3xx hp out of a 1.6L engine.

I will have to disagree with you. I just talked to the head of my local Bmw's service department. He said there is a 240 hp kit offered by BMP. And a 270 hp somewhere. By kit, I mean pulleys, headers, big-*** intercooler etc.... It does exist fellas, and I am gonna find it.
Nice ICE.
But a dealer is not a tuner. And 240hp is nothing like 270hp which is nothing like 300hp when you are dealing with only 1.6L of displacement. Granted with all the stereo equipment, a pulleyed MCS would still be able to leave you.
It must be nice being able to chat with the local BMW service manager at 1am...

I would recommend the Mini-Motorsports kit, with a little variation, being the header i developing, i sell Randy's kit or get it directly from him, if thats not enough we can discuss more, but it will cost a lot more money
