Anyone in Atlanta?

Hello...(im not exactly sure if this is the place to put this but mods please move it to the right section if it doesnt belong here). I live in Kennesaw, Ga and am a mini enthusiast (have one)...i really dont see many other minis around my area especially at car gatherings so i really dont get any chance to conversate with fellow enthusiasts. Im looking to do some upgrades to my car and was looking for a seasoned mini cooper enthusiast to help out.....if someone could point me in the right direction that would be sweet...and again im sorry if this doesnt belong here...but ive been searching for a while...thanks

imo you should contact waylen of www.waymotorworks.com . He not only carries and sells all the parts you would need but he installs everything and for about as cheap prices as you would find for mini mechanics across the country. He's a stand up guy and if you call him and tell him what you are looking for he will steer you in the right direction without selling you crap you don't need.

Yep! Waylen rocks! Mr. Skurvy and I are in Marietta. There are a few folks we know of in Kennesaw. There's also a local club, www.atlantaminis.net that is a wealth of information about local vendors.

Hi, we're in Kennesaw, too! We've got a couple of MINIs, so you may have seen us around.

We used to have a CR/B MC with a vanity plate that said REDDWRF. We just sold it to friends in Marietta.

We've got a HB/W/CR 3 color R53 MCS named BLOOPER (hard to miss ), and a PW/PW R56 MCS.

We'll keep an eye out for your car!

And DEFINITELY get in touch with Way. He's the guy you want working on your car, trust me

I believe that Way will be an authorized Dimsport tuner by the end of January, after completing the necessary training by Emil at VitessePro.

He already owns the software.

So he'll be able to do it all - wrenching, changing pulleys and belts, etc., - plus providing the full custom Dimsport tune.

Plus, as a racer, Way brings another perspective that may be useful for those in the Southeast that track their cars.

This is great news for me as I am only about 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta.
I will be calling Way early in 2008.
