Interior/Exterior Tail Lights
Tail Lights
I got replacement taillights for the R60.
Is there some sort of trick to get them to stay on good without feeling loose?
I have had to taken them off and on half a dozen times already trying to get them on "just right".
But no matter what i do, they always seem a bit wobbly.
I was thinking of taking off the weather seal it comes with and using something like butyl tape.
Any ideas?

Yes they work perfectly fine.
My only issue is the fitment.
The connector fit perfectly, and i coded it myself to not show any errors.
Only difference is these lights only have the white reverse light on one side. While the other side is just a red light.
But thats how all these aftermarket tail lights are designed for some reason. Maybe its a UK thing?

I think there is a thread on here somewhere about those lights and the fitment as well. Yes, the one side if reverse and other red. I think people expected there to be a US and UK version. It helps for sure if you have code change capabilitiy.
For now i added some butyl tape and it seems to hold it snug.
