Does any one know if these will fit an MC40?

My rear lights are perma-fogged and one of them has a leak. I am looking to customize...... on a budget. I like the look of these but one of the Ebay vendors said it won't fit.

Yes they should be a direct replacement for an MC40.

I would go old school clear Euro Genuine MINI lights for the MC40, think it would look good. But its up to you. The backup light in the taillight is for 7/2004+ , 7/2004 and before the backup light is in the bumper center.

WRONG.

The white lens in that taillight is the turn signal. Same configuration as in all 2002-2004.

This is the configuration in the 02-04 taillight. Reverse light is in the center bumper.

The MC40s are exactly like this diagram. My reverse is in the bumper. I had the understanding that the MC40s were the same as the MCS so I was a little thrown when the Ebay listing said it fit the MCS 02-04 but the vendor said it didn't. Think I will buy from someone else.

ECS,
I am not a big fan of the clear tails on the Chilli red. I like them on the blue and the light grey colors, but not the red or black. Just my opinion though.

Thanks for your input everyone. I think I'm gonna buy them.

Looking sharp
So I bought a pair. Great fit. I really like them. Wish they wer$15-20 less expensive but still better priced than a stock set and some other after markets. $80 shipped.

I will probably put back the stock badge, mine was faded and messed up, but for now size matters.

The light is glare from the flash not the bulb.

If you guys want to see them light up let me know, I can take more pictures. But they are definitely more visible than the stock pair.

Videos
Here are videos I took this evening. I was using my phone and the quality doesn't do them justice. But they look really sharp.

I might try and take some other videos if I can get my hands on a better camera.

They come in silver also if that is your preference.

I don't normally drive with the rear fogs on, only in bad weather, or on nights with no moon in a place where there is minimal to no man made light. The brakes are the same lumens as the fog lights (or at least to my eyes they look as bright). I couldn't get a picture with the brakes going on and off since I was recording by myself.
