Hey Atlanta! MINIUSA launch party and a MINI drive this week
MINIUSA, in conjunction with Cover Atlanta magazine, will be having a MINI launch party this Saturday, November 16th at the Click Models Agency offices at 79 Poplar, in Downtown Atlanta. The party will begin at 8:00PM. The party is not only to thank us for buying our MINI's, but also to promote the MINI as a "hip and stylish" car to own. Everyone is welcome to attend. The party will continue at Club Karma, which is next door to Click Models. There will be a $10-$20pp cover charge to get into Karma. At Karma, there will be a DJ playing London underground music with MINI videos playing on the screen.
Then on Sunday, Atlanta MINIS will be having a MINI drive from Tallulah Falls to Helen, GA. We will be leaving the Arts Center (just outside the entrance to Tallulah Falls) around 11:30 AM and drive to Helen for lunch scheduled at 2:00 at the Alt Heidelberg German restaurant. Those planning on participating in the drive MUST contact me to let me know how many to schedule for lunch.
Directions to the MINIUSA launch party: Take Peachtree St. into Downtown Atlanta. Turn right on Forsyth (just past Macy's and at the MARTA station). Take another right on Marietta St., then a right onto Cone St. Poplar (more like an cobble stone alley) is just up on the right. Parking appears to be available at various surface lots around the area.
Directions to the MINI drive: For those who would like to follow us from Atlanta to Tallulah Falls, we will be meeting at the Holiday Inn exit 111 off 85N. Turn right from the exit, and the Holiday Inn will be on the left. We will leave there at 9:45. For those meeting us at Tallulah Falls, from Atlanta take 85N to 985, which turns into 441/23. That will take you straight to Tallulah Falls, which is approx. 60 miles from the start of 985. As you approach Tallulah Falls, look for Isabell's and the Co-op Craft store on the left. Cross the bridge, and turn left immediately after crossing the bridge at the "day use" entrance. The entrance to “day use” will be straight ahead, BUT make an immediate right instead, going up the hill to the Arts Center. We will leave from the Arts Center parking lot at noon. The drive from intown Atlanta to Tallulah Falls is about 2 hours, and the MINI drive itself will take about 1 1/2 hours. Maps of the drive will be provided at the Arts Center. Let’s hope for good weather on Sunday. We will not let a little rain spoil our fun, but if it’s going to be raining heavily on Sunday, we’ll shoot for the 24th to have the drive. Hope to see everyone there!Atlanta MINISmaxxboy1@yahoo.com

I will try to attend both events this weekend. It depends on if I can figure out how to use my new DVD recorder to record the boxing match on TV saturday night.
Anyone know if any models (aka hotties) will be attending the party, I think this will impact my ability to work the DVD player......
