In my car, I used the Water Temp and Boost. I would have added an oil temp as well. You can mount three, but the third isn't as easy to read, so something like oil temp is ideal there as you don't stare at it all the time.

Hope that helps! Thanks for asking!

sorry to go off topic a little but was thinking about the fuel issues. the VW guys can push their 2.0ltr FSi turbo engines to over 400bhp. is there any reason this levle of power cant be achived with the MINi (just on the fuel side)???

thanks Chris.

Will the ATP Boost Source Adapter from JSC Speed work properly with the soon to be released boost gauge, the actual sensor that screws in?

Having not tried it I can't say for 100%. However, it certainly seems MORE than reasonable that it would. WE did confirm that we will be offering something similar in about 3-6 weeks. So either way you will be a-ok!

Thanks again! Let me know how I can help!

Sorry to jump in here on the Alta thread, but yes it will work.

It has a nipple for a vacuum line that will run to the boost pressure sensor for the Alta gauge.

All aftermarket electronic boost gauges use a MAP sensor w/ a nipple fitting, so you simply run a line from the Boost Source adapter to the MAP sensor for the boost gauge.

Does the boost sensor for the Alta boost gauge setup have a nipple on the end of the sensor?

Yes the boost gauge has a sensor, and it has a nipple that will go directly to the adapter in question. No issue no problems!

Thanks again!

Hi ADAMSALTAMINI, I want to know more about your intercooler V2. I found it on a website but not so much data. Please let me know about the water injectros, why are they there and how do they operate and what does trigger them. Also, how do you compare your product with M7's V2. I like the shape of yours but I live in Saudi where it's tooooooo hot and I prefer performance over look.

It should go on with ZERO issues. WE installed one of these on Unichips R56, and it was just like the other cars.

The V2 is only for the R53 supercharged car. Is this the car you have? The water injection is a great item for hot climates! here are a couple things to read over:

WE can get metric for you at any time. We don't stock it that way, but just let us know via PM or e-mail and we can order one up for your gauge kit.

Thanks for asking!

Hey there! I know when I get my MINI the first thing I want to do is get your CAI put on it. I looked around and searched through this thread and couldn't seem to find any info on whether or not the CAIs void any type of factory warranty. I'm pretty 99.9% sure they don't, but I'm having trouble convincing my dad of that...(he wants me to wait until the warranty is over to put anything extra on my MINI )

Thanks for the help!

Just thought I'd chime in on this since I'm a california police officer.

CVC 27151 (b) states you may not exceed 95 dBA. However, it also states you may not modify the exhaust in violation of 27150, which states your muffler may not make "unusual" or "excessive" noise. Technically, you can be stopped and cited for having ANY aftermarket exhaust on your car.

However, in practical application of this law, we will not harass anyone unless:
1. We are given a special enforcement direction.
2. We believe you are a shady character and we need a reason to stop you and get in your car.
3. You are doing all kinds of other stupid driving and we want to throw the book at you.

"Kirkland:
Adam,
Is it possible to program the DME to not light up the instrument panel with the CEL I have every start as a result of the Alta downpipe?"

Well yes and no! We need to find out what the code # or numbers are, then we can figure out where to go for a solution. We want nothing more than to help resolve the concern! Let me know in a PM or post here.

Thank you!
