seeing as they (and the car's owner) are so forthcoming, it's hard to tell what's the truth and what's not. This goes for any tuner....If I grenaded a customer's motor (twice), I would want to get it fixed quietly. Same for the owner...if you 'play ball', you get it resolved. If you talk about it, the bad press might lead the shop to be less than helpful. Lose/lose.

Here's the thing about pushing the envelope...sometimes you don't know where the edge is until it's too late. There's doing stupid things (like running 81 octane and NOS on incorrect pistons and an unsleeved block) and then there's honestly pushing for more, safe power (water/meth injection etc).

As my auto-x buddies tell me...if you don't hit a cone once in awhile, you aren't driving hard enough.

I said this last time around....for Johan's sake I hope A) the motor didn't go and B) if it did, his tuner is taking care of it.

LOL...That's all I need

Motor didn't blow...I'm not sure what the progress is, I've been very busy...I'll look into it as soon as I can and report back, might not be for a couple weeks though.

I always thought pistons were round like the wheel, and you know how that saying goes

Fair play to Gintani for re-engineering the pistons, its good to experiment and test old theories and test new boundries
