Whoooow man, who are you calling out? This started because I posted the question about the tuning...I was not bashing or anything else. I was curious to see what gains you were making and how strong it was running. That's all. And why are they taking so long to tune it...Shouldn't tuning take a day or two at tops(for something that has never been seen before)...

just tired of all the crap that goes on around here...

We are testing a lot different set-ups, injectors, pullies ect. to find the best.

Johan also remember the engine isnt stock at all so it will take longer to tune correctly than a standard engine or even a piston change.

this is probably a stupid question but wth it's never stopped me before .... but don't you have to break in the rings and bearings prior to some groovy red linin' ?

So much anger... trust me... better to do it right the first time... otherwise the 2nd is forever... my car has been down 6 months! the $2500 turbo wasnt worth it... I hope to be right there with you Johan!

You said they were dynoing the car all this week. Gintani said the number were looking really really good and they were going to post some video of your car on the dyno.

What happened? After waiting 8 months we are all curious. Your car is starting to sound like mine . It's funny how both are going to be finished around the same time.

No worries LB...I am a loose cannon and have an itchy trigger finger sometimes so thanks for understanding

Pistons, I was building a NX wet nitrous kit for the mini...So I had these pistions built to withstand the power and abuse of nitrous. I never did run the nitrous and I have NO intentions to. Now I'm going to pull all the stuff out of my car and stick it in the closet for another project down the road or just sell it.

I talked to Gintani yesterday and they told me that they were going to upload some clips on youtube...so as soon as I get the link I'll post it here for sure

Most of the extra time is my doing...I've been adding a lot more stuff than I had planned to from the start...for example their prototype head, pistons, header, exhaust ect...The pistons had to be custom built and that simply takes time...plus the time time to PROPERPLY change pistons. So I take the responsability for it taking longer.

Yea we'll be done about the same time...but you'll be putting down a little more power than me...until I move on to stage 2

I'm not even sure I'm going to bring the car back...Looks like I'll be moving to southern CA either this spring for fall...So I may just fly out there and check it out for the time being and leave it in CA...it will be easier than bringing all the way to the east coast just to ship it back in a couple months.
