I for one love your front mount and would be willing to hack the s$%t out of my car to get that. And no, it looks nothing like a Honda.
I think you did an awesome job and I wish you were here in SoCal. I for one would bug you to death to help me do the same for my car.
Longboard

Yea, that is a sweet ride. When I was a kid, my best friend's older brother had an AH 3000 that spent most of its time covered in the driveway. It barely ran from what I recall, mostly primer body etc. I vividly remember the day it was trailered away to its new owner.
I've loved that car ever since.

After seeing these pics my wife and I want one!!! How much do they go for?
beautiful, and should get the job done nicely.
Just to hump peter's leg - what do I do? cut out the picture and past it on my hood?
availability? DFIC owners would like to know !!

interesting boot connection
I've seen the IC... Was curious about all the rest of it... the venting back out thru the hood behind the IC... Is that all custom work??
It is called the DFIC exit scoop and is a production piece now . The one with the louvers on my car in the picture above was a one off piece and the production item is different. If I can't find the pictures I will take a few of it on my car. As for price and stock situation you will have to call the office for that .

It does look cool. Too bad it doesn't work
. You should see these intercoolers on the dyno... the term "lava rocket" is generally used for the DFIC phenomenon. The fins in the IC are so close together that too little air can flow between them, and the IC core absorbs a lot of heatsoak. So yeah, great looking, poor performing. If you're looking for an intercooler that improves performance, look elsewhere!
(disclaimer: this is not a swipe at the vendor, it's a swipe at the product... different strokes for different folks (it looks great)... so yeah, don't be bent out of shape.)

For those of you that spend a lot of time driving on the dyno this is important. For those of you that drive on the road , not so much
