I think you’d have to have a pretty loud car for them to even say anything in the first place. I have yet to see anyone get flagged for being too loud.

This is an old New England town and the track has a church across the street. No racing or noise on Sundays. Ya, they can be a problem but I expect as long as I am not in a rice burner with a farty muffler I should be ok I must be doing something right at home; my wife likes the Invidia and doesn't want me to change it back

I ran NJMP thunderbolt when a guy was tuning his classic IMSA aurora there. I could here him coming three turns away before I saw him in my mirrors. Did not matter, he would pass me on the straight or in a turn with or without points byes. Talk about loud.

If you are really risk adverse, get some power robbing "sound traps" for the exhaust. That would take care of the problem for sure. You can put them on if you get black flagged.

An update...I have been in contact with LRP and they have invited me for a couple of laps to do a noise check. So I guess I will know how the loud Invidia system is. I will give LRP credit with being very responsive to my contact and trying to help with this... Plus I will get a few preseason laps on the car

BTY - I did see someone get bounce for too much noise at LRP. This was a few years back when I went to see what HPDEs were all about. The Park and the sponsor club (Patroons I think) did warn the guy but he went out anyway and got POed when he was black flagged. He did deserve what he got...he had no muffler (not much of one if he did) the car was obnoxious.

Now that I think about it, the Milltek is sounding pretty aggressive these days. I probably should take a few practice laps to make sure it's OK before I pay for a track day.

Doing the math on the membership: 110k, 1.53 mile track...hmmmm

Looks like my CVs are good this time.

I will be raising the car about 1/4 inch all around as well. The car is just a little too slammed.

What do you Think of the ASTs?

The ASTs are really nice, stiff but well controlled ride. They seem like they should be good for the track and not bad on the road.

Did you sign up for TM yet?

Got the Wilwoods installed. I am waiting till the pad settle in before I give them the 2 thumbs up. I am getting some rumble from them. It seem like the pads need to settle into the slots. It has gotten better over the last 200 miles so I don't believe it is warped rotors. I will say that the ride has improved from the lower unsprung weight and the accelleration is better. The new wheels probably help with that too; the Enkei Turings went on and are looking fine

I registered for TM today on the website. No news so far, hope to get a confirm soon.

Glad you got your brakes on. I will bring the high temp grease for you for wrenching sat. You will need it to stop the squealing brakes for those race pads.

This is what I need to do:
1. oil change
2. brake fluid change
3. adjust end links
4. seafoam

I signed up for Saturday only at this time. I am taking it one day at a time to make sure the car is running well.

I do not think I will be able to make it to mid-ohio this time around.

I am signed up with TM for Sat and Sunday. Had to for the novice class . Got my notice yesterday. Interesting that they suggest that we get Hawk HP+ pads as "you don't want too agressive of a pad". I blew through a set of HP-S pads (same heat range and got over heated) in half a day, my first ever day out... hence the XP-10s.

Got my Yokohamas mounted on the Enkei racing wheels...WOW...the car is noticably different/faster than the S-lites (heavies). And the pads are settling into the rotors. Friday I go for a few laps at LRP, I should be set now.

BYT - The Enkei Tuning wheels (model SC03 with 45mm offset) that I have for the street have fantastic BBK clearance; tried on both Slinger's 13" TCE Wilwoods and my 12" Wilwoods. The Enkei racing (43mm offset) clear the 12" Wilwoods but need 5mm spacer to clear the 13" kit. Of all things, the stock Mini Bridgespokes (16") clear the 12" Wilwoods with NO spacer

Does look kind of straight forward. Must change the oil after.
