wou hou!

First time on a real track this weekend...

Best run was 14.31

05 MCS
LSD
Toyo T1R
15%
JCW intake

was never able to come close to it with my other runs, they were all around 14.6 - 7. that one was the only one the wheels didn't squeel all through 1st, it bit down hard.

Also it was pretty cold out (13C)

I ran a 14.2 at 116. On street tires, and it was my first time out with the twincharge kit. I'm still working out some bug before I try to break any world records. Time for an upgraded trans and some new Halfshafts.

I pulled off a 14.268 @ 97.46 tonight.

My car has a 15% pulley, Alta CAI, Magnaflow Cat-Back

I was running my 17" S-Lites and run-flats.

Now that's fast!! What's the altitude of the strip? Nice reaction time, and fast 60ft!

wow your car has some serious top end after looking at that 60 foot!

My run was at Norwalk Raceway Park, I think the altitude there is 852 feet.
I'm not real sure what a "good" driver can do for 60' on street tires, but I'd like to think that I can go a little quicker than 2.16. During one of my slower runs of the night, I actually went 98.xxx MPH for my trap speed. I also was able to cut a .003 light. Now, if I can only figure out how to run my best ET, fastest MPH, and quickest R/T all on the same run..I'll be set!

You did amazingly well on runflats!

I cut a 1.85 or1.86 on toyo t1r's but that was a 16 inch wheel too

He would have the later gearset like I had in Mega Mini at the weekend 8000 in 4th = 111 whereas 7000 with the pre July 04 box = 114 so 8000 = 130

that exact car has been sold... it was a april production 05 without an lsd. There shouldn't be any varients that would make a difference. I would tell you the part number off of my s convertible but i didn't drive that today... i have a showroom full of s's... would you like me to take one off of one of those? Also, do you want me to see if i can find one with an lsd?

Can all NAM members that have ran the 1/4 please post their best times and what modifications/tires/etc you were running? I know FTR ran a 10.xx and I recall from recent posts reading more 13 and low 14 second runs...

I went to the strip to evaluate a performance product and did a 15.559 @ 92.84, 2.577/60ft with a passenger, picnic gear, tools, roll bar, ASC enabled, and a full tank of gas; it was a big surprise when I saw the time slip. Next opportunity I’ll go for times. 19%, 380cc injectors, Helix/GIAC flash, ENDYN head & supercharger, stock intake & header, Borla sport/street cat back, Avon M500 205/50/16s

I was looking for IAT deltas; consistency under load was a treatment the drag strip environment afforded. It was still a lot of fun even if I was dragging an anchor and not pursuing low ETs.

I will be attending my first drag race @ Speedworld in Phx AZ. I autox alot so a straight line should be interesting. What should I expect as far as times since I have read through this thread and didn't see any MC's. I don't have much in the way of mods for power but what I've done so far (if it makes any difference) high flow drop-in filter, Borla cat-back exhst, Mini Madness custom ECU tune, MSD ignition coil & wires, NGK irridium IX plugs, OEM 05' second gen. clutch...running on new Azenis rt-615 205/50 15" with Konig Feather 15" wheels. I was first thinking around et 16.5 but after reading this thread an et of 18.5 would'nt be bad.

i have a nickel that says you are mid sixteens.

try this! (i guessed 2500 lbs w/ driver and 120 hp - optimistic, right?)

you already know how to balance rpm and wheelspin from autox

Well you won and I didn't! Best run with the "Justa" was rt 1.026, et 16.795 @ 81 mph. Not sure I'll do this again but I could see (if I had a better rt) running in the high 15's.
