Was a nice day to motor today. got a lot done. Started the day motoring my Z. then changed the oil on the white FitS, got gas for it (wife drove it to the last frikken pint of gas left ), went to recycle the used oil, motored my G, took my FitS along with the family to run some errands. all while doing laundry and helping with dinner.

Tomorrow going to motor my Z, hopefully some G as well... and QD both cars.

Crazy run yesterday! About 5 hours of driving broken up with a few potty stops and then dinner. Then we piled on the ferry to get home. It was a blast. We had a Pantera, an S2000 and a 135i join us. The Pantera made it about halfway before having gearbox trouble and heading home, but the owner was a major trooper - he did the first half of the run without 2nd and 4th gears!

I strained my back on the pre-run Clara clean-up...so I am lying in bed today and finishing a needlework project, Facebooking, and otherwise lounging.

ML- sounds like fun. i saw the map motoron posted up on the other thread. lots of twists.

sorry to hear about the back pain. hope you feel better sooon.
...or are you just pretending it hurts so motoron can do all your packing
for you for the move?

today i motored my Z and G and QD'ed both of them. kinda sucked when i
pulled out the Z in the am... 5min into my drive a bird BOMBED my Z's
hood and shittage splattered into the glass.

i remembered how good kentucky fried chicken was. so there you go,
you stupid bird, you aren't even edible.

i did a U-turn, cleaned her up, and went out again.

placed another order to griot's for the disposable gloves, gallon of speedshine,
gallon of sprayon wax, and 3 MF bonnets for my window wizard thingie.

want to get my stuff before things start freezing up again.

Speaking of Freezing what do you put in Home Made Winshield Washer Fluid to keep it from freezing?? I use 303 Instant Windshield Washer Tablets.

Dammm... that musta been a heckuva big bird if it takes that much stuff to resupply after one shittage incident. Or did you just get kinda "twitchy" and felt like only a big ole Griots order could make you feel "clean" again?

In general, I believe they recommend you use the tabs with water only for summer / non freezing temps. I've heard them say you can add the tabs to plain-ole blue washer fluid in the winter to make the blue stuff work better.

Me... I almost never use my washers. Never. I'll get out and use Clarity and a MF first. I'm just weird that way.

Finally got around to putting my new improved RMW header back on Blimey yesterday... wish I had done it months ago - it sounds sooooooo good. Much better than the original style one with holes in it.

And the car goes like a giant pooping bird outta h3ll.

Blimey- hahahaha the bird came down and **** rubbed my entire car just to humiliate me.

I think RJ is using those blue toilet bowl tablets in his washer bottle.

I loooooooove my Dewalt cordless impact driver - use it almost every time I do anything to my car. It's so freakin convenient, and perfect for bolts that don't need lots of torque. It was my Christmas present last year.

Nope. Not enough torque for lugs. Just for the 90% of other bolts on the car that you wouldn't normally use a big impact driver on...

I got one from Home Depot one of their Ryobi ones. Absolutely rocks

Word of note on DeWalt. Got it from my woodworking guru brother in law to not buy DeWalt from home centers (Home Depot, Lowes). Looks exactly the same as the ones you can buy from specialty tool companies but a huge diff inside. Diff between plastic gears and metal ones as a example. Word

Don't know for certain but I would think you'd be OK. As I said the advice I got was stay away from the Mega Home Centers when buying power tools.

After 21 years, I'm giving up on asking Santa for a pony. I'd ask for a dog but I'm supposed to be getting one this year *cough cough DAVE* and if I don't get one then I guess I will have to ditch the bf and get a dog on my own.

Thus I plan on asking Santa for a garage. If I can't have a garage then I'll take an apt with covered parking, preferably not a tandem space.
