[Jan. ?? ] Wisp Ski Trip

I am in contact with Wisp and want to post a poll about if you all want it to be an overnight or a day trip. This would be a Saturday to Sunday event if we decide to go overnight.

Just a thought for first time ski'ers it may be a bit painful to sit/move for a while and drive. Very nice ski/tube/snowboard resort. Lots of my friends go to this one and another one that's in PA.

As we further our communications with Wisp, we will post all the costs involved.

Good choice .. Wisp is actually pretty nice and has a nice little run for beginners w/ ski lift . etc. Good Runs for advance skier (not the Alps or CO but pretty nice). Renting a chalet will be probably cheaper than the Hotel. We used rent a Chalet or two w/ friends for 3-4 days and always had a great time.

if you want a really fun drive on the way to a ski resort (weather providing) snowshoe has some really hot trails and west va is full of the curviest fun roads! : ) but that would be a weekend trip... just a suggestion...

Update: We would need 20 people to buy lift tickets and get 10 rooms MINIMUM

I am not sure if we will get these #'s

Although this is a great idea, I don't think we will be able to do this one. It is too expensive to go without the discount, and that reqires more people, so we will keep this in our back pocket for a bit.

Jay/Stacy,

This just in! I've got 5 friends that are also interested in a ski trip. Non-DCMM but, if joining the groups would help to accomplish getting the numbers you need, let us know if this would work.

Happy Motorin'

Edit: What weekend do you guys have in mind?

Well, people have said that they are interested, but not TOTALLY interested. As of now, I would need 15 more people, and to rent 10 rooms. Now, that is 20 people purchasing lift tickets. If this is not reached, I can always check on just finding out how much it costs for lift tickets and rooms on an individual basis. I don't mind doing that for everyone.

So, if this is still for Jan., than lets here it people, who is in for a Fri.-Sun trip to Wisp?
