My husband got stuck traffic because of an accident this AM on Rte. 50 E. When he came abreast of the site, he said there was a pure silver MINI in the middle of the accident. I hope it wasn't any of you guys...

 

Met in the Target parking lot yesterday the very proud owner of MINI CAR. An MC also covered with stickers and a Fish n Chips decal. I think I found Isabelle's soul mate. Encouraged them to join DCMM!

Got a wave back from a LY MCS in Vienna.

First one in quite a few months.

 

came out from the DSW in the hunt valley shopping center (where wegmans is)...i was surrounded by 6 MINIs!! they all parked near Alice (but the rent-a-cop wouldnt let me tag them)

 

Spotted a blue clubman with the black rear panels on the toll road today around noon. The tags were; "Luvs Pie"

(Again couldn't wave because you were in the other lane passing a truck and i had the company car again.)

 

Arkville NY 'trifecta' last Saturday (9/13). An OB/B Cooper, an older (I think) gold/black 'S' (I think), and a beautiful HC Clubman. Holy Crap--Arkville's a tiny little town; if we'd all known we were coming (me in my OB/W Cooper), we coulda had a little rally of our own!

Ooops; just realized this is specific to the DC area folks...no wonder no one saw here saw the grouping I saw last weekend...sorry.

 

W00t, another Laser Blue. Saw her going north on Rt. 4 towards D.C. Just got the wave off as I was exiting. I think I got the blank stare, but, it's all good. That girl has good taste.

 

I saw TONS of Mini's out today.... Must be the weather

 

I saw someone smoking a cigarette in their MINI today

 

GP spotted at the Marriott Hotel at Dulles Airport today. Didn't catch the #, i had to pick up a customer that had been left waiting by somebody else who couldn't be bothered.

 

So its not only me who does it............................

Waved to 3 Mini's today, only got 1 reply from a CR/W on Rt.28 on the way back home to Manassas.

 

MINIs MINIs everywhere ! What a great thing ! Sure beats looking at Camrys and Accords and US disposables.......in this hour of "wave" challenge, we must be strong and continue to uphold the faith ! We must Wave ! and smile too !

 

Tell that to the lady in the yellow R56 that sped up and hauled away when i gave a friendly wave and smile to this evening on Rt. 28.

I've had the same reaction from lady MINI owners on occasion, its like you want to say "Happily Married Thanks!" and I'm just waving because we share a common bond with our cars.

But then I've had them wave to me first....and I know its not because they want a date with me

 

I've stoped waving since nobody see's me through the tint anyway. I'm going for the double headlight flash instead.

 

Was out and about today with Preston, my MINI...van and saw a lightning blue/white CoopS on Rt29, thought it was Ms Brahms but unless Hanna is driving her now, Derek was not there.....

Also saw an interesting Justa, Yellow and black with S lites and driving lights + black bonnies, looked like an S, smelled like an S but was a Justa, neat car !

Wensley is parked for the duration of my travel, can't wait to fire her up when I get back !

 

I saw a bluish Cooper with the tag "Myst" today heading north on 355 where 355 meets 28 in MD. I only saw it just as i passed in front so i didn't get a good look. I was heading south and turning onto 28 just outside of my condo building. I've seen this tag before. Who is it?

 

We were out and about on Snowden River Parkway... the Design Store there by Mamoth Golf..... managed to keep Ms. Brahms from being a submarine on the way home.

Also, met a fine gentleman at Bank Of America at York and Padonia this morning... gave him a card and suggested that he might want to check us out. He had quite a good looking '04 (?) Justa.... blue with a Union Jack on the roof .

 

I got a wave and a thumbs up today!

The wave from a woman in a silver/black Cooper on Wisconsin Ave between Bethesda and Chevy Chase. She must've just gotten it because she still had the temp tags.

The thumbs up was from a guy in a BRG/white Cooper with New Jersey plates who was in front of me as I turned left from Connecticut Ave onto Calvert.

 

Caught up to a PS/B Justacooper on Cromwell Bridge Road.

Got an enthusiastic wave when he saw me in the rear view mirror.

 

Outbound 267/Toll Road just about to Dulles around 8AM. Laser Blue/White MCS 2004+ w/white hood stripes with Maryland "MINIPWR" plates. Gave the wave, got the smile, received (and kindly accepted) the thumbs up as I exited@Herndon and you continued on.

Psst ... your passenger side front running light is out.
