Saw a Chili Red/Air convertible on Harford Road between sets of twisties.
Got a big wave!

While I was at the skeet range today, a Miata driver started asking me how I liked Otto.
He said his wife has a JustaCooper and she(and he) loves it.
Dug through my armrest to get a card and tagged him.
Also saw a Smart convertible in the parking lot. Owner said this was his second one.He traded a coupe when the convertible became available.

 

MrMellowYellow and I saw a bunch of MINIs on our venture to and from White Flint Mall today.

First, we saw a Liquid Yellow convertible with the top down headed 270 South with license plate BUTRS B (cool plate!).

Then at White Flint Mall, we saw a Chili Red MINI parked in the back lot that looked a little lonely. We decided he needed company, so we pulled up and parked right next to him and tagged him. Another cool plate of - BLUDY L

We came out of the mall to find out that BLUDY L tagged us back with a nice note saying they just renewed their membership. Cheers!

Lastly, leaving the mall we rode next to a Chili Red w/white top and white bonnets that was right along side us for several lights and didn't acknowledge us. Tag was BASIL. Was it because we were waving wildly and looking at them? I guess we could have looked a little insane.

Had I not been taking an exam in the office building across the street, this would have been me... . Bludy L appreciated the company. She likes it when she gets to park next to other minis. On the way home she told me that she had fun reading Edgar Allan Poe's "The Masque of Red Death" and hopes that everyone had a good time.

 

Saw a blue/black clubman in front of W-L High School today (on Washington Blvd) at about 10am, but, you did not see me....

 

Spotted PGT at the Chick-Fil-A in Sterling around 1:15. I have to say, your wheels look GREAT in person! I wasn't too sure when you posted pics on here.

(Sorry i didn't have my MINI and didn't try to find out who you were inside, my brother took me to lunch.)

were you guys in the black car parked to the left of mine? I saw two guys looking at the car but that's not abnormal (I get as many dirty looks as nods of approval ).

Yep, that would have been my brother and I. I've been known to make special trips to Chick-Fil-A just for a cookies-n-cream shake before.

 

I was the OB/W parked across the intersection near furniture store. Tried really hard to park near you.

 

Saw "SIRIUS" a dark colored (I can't be sure as I was passing quite fast) MCS Convert parked in Falls Church...

Still no one sees me :(

 

There's a BRG/White Cooper parked in front of my condo right now. It has Maryland tags and is very clean.

 

Yesterday, I saw a PW/B Cooper S parked on 13th Street. Then I turned up Hudson St. and saw a blue/S Clubman S and a blue Cooper. My next turn was onto Key Blvd where I saw another PW Cooper. I then proceeded to park my PW/S Clubman on Irving St. So, that makes 5 Minis in two blocks...great neighborhood!

 

Spotted yet another GP tonight on the way home from work on Rt. 28 near the intersection of Rt. 50. You def. caught me STARING at your car as i drove in the other lane. Looked like a young guy was driving it; couldn't really tell because of possible tint, and you were again in the other lanes.

I can't believe i've spotted so many GP's around this area.

 

Hello to the Pepper white/Black NEW Clubman i met today at GMU-
I was the crazy girl in line for ice cream at the DoIT Decathlon. it was nice talking to you... alot of my coworkers were very impressed at how two complete strangers could instantly strike up a conversation about a car : ) then again the ones that know me were not surprised. and Thanks for the princess sticker.

 

I spotted two MINI's yesterday evening at the White Flint Mall on the top level parking garage near the theaters. I was there for a class from 7 to 930. Both were there when i arrived shortly before 7 and when i left. One was a red MCS and the other was blue, not sure of anything else.
I was in a oxy blue MC w/ white stripes - loaner from MoS.

on charles street in towson- black with white roof (and white stripes? if i recall correctly)

 

Tagged a CR R53 with white stripes (bonnet and hatch) Sunday night in Germantown, out in front of the Stone Cold Creamery.

 

I've been seeing more and more MINIs in the area since gas prices have gone up so much... Most of them do now wave though. However I did get a thumbs up from a Corvette last night. I was running some twisties back in N. Potomac and a yello corvette came up behind me. He was about to pass me but there was a curve coming up so he stayed behind. I laid into the corner at about 65, drifted around it and fed some gas to pull out of it. I lost te vette in the corner and he came back up behind me at a stop sign, flashed his lights, gave me a thumbs up and said something like "Wow! I'm impressed!" I guess he's never driven a MINI, he probably thought it was an economy car, until last night...

 

I got 3 waves today!

1. BRG with white sport stripes heading north on Connecticut ave around 11am.

2. BRG with silver roof at Tysons around 2.

3. Dark silver and black on Rock Creek Parkway around 3.

 

Tagged MINI SUN, who parked next to me yesterday near Michael's at Seven Corners. Followed that up by tagging a MINI with a MTTS decal in the Target parking lot.
