I tagged a CR MCSC last evening in the parking lot near Rita's Italian Ice in Eldersburg. Nice looking MINI with the Viper stripe down the center.

Thanks for the compliment on my "clean and shiny" Cooper, even though the day's worth of pollen took away from the Hydro Shine just a bit.

Did get to see a conspicious Pickup last night on 29 North, with Solor Solutions on the back! Got a nice wave from...Carlos!! Finally I see someone I know on the road!!

 

267 east bound - around 1:30 today (Friday 12th May)- saw a brand new LB/W with temporary plates. Must of been having a great time since I (in my non-cooper car) was (admittedly ) going around 75 and it cruised right on by me. I was very envious longing for my own. Not that I would drive that fast

 

Got a passing honk/waved at a Classic CR Mini on GW Parkway while I was stuck in the most delicious traffic jam of the year.

 

Hey! I don't know where you are, but I saw a pick up with a Solar Solutuons sticker in the back window, on 495.

 

On the Solar Solutions topic. I saw what appeared to be a Honda Element Solar Solutions vehicle this morning on Rt 123 in Mclean.

Anyway, yesterday was Chili Red day. On the way home I followed 1 and another passed me. No waves but I noticed some sneaky looks back in the rearview mirror. Why dont they wave??? Then got a BIG wave from a CR/W at Fair Oaks Mall last night. It restored my faith!!

 

Oooo, forgot to post this one. Last Friday (or mebbe Thursday, possibly Wednesday.... but I'm almost sure it was Friday! ) I parked next to a BRG/B S with Maryland plates 'CAFN8ED'!

Comming home from Shady Grove onto 370, MCS EB/B Black bonnet stripes, tinted windows. I pulled up behind you and than to your driver side in MCS EB/W "modded up" and you DIDN'T WAVE! Did I scare you with my exhaust and dragons?

 

Hi, I drive the '03 EB/B you saw. Yes I saw you, sorry I didn't wave, I didn't see that you were waving, so I apologize. I used to wave more, but I've become cautious about it when I realized most other MINI drivers don't acknowledge it or worse, they look at you like you're nuts.

I saw you coming on the on ramp, saw the spoiler and knew exactly who it was. I live in Germantown, so I've been wondering how long it would take for us to cross paths.

 

Yea, I finially got a reply from this forum I have only been taking that route for 4 months now. I don't take the MINI to work everytime, but this was the first time I have seen you. It is a little difficult to miss Soulfire now.

 

I've been meaning to post these for a while now...Almost every night when I leave my parking garage at the corner of 20th and N, NW I see a BRG/W MC parked in front of the Flats at Dupont Circle (I think that's what it's called).

Also, in the morning driving in on New Hampshire in Foggy Bottom, I see a beauty of an '07, CR with black stripes. We passed each and waved like mad a few weeks ago (), but now I only see you parked on the street.

And this past Monday (5/14) I saw VA plate MR EZ parked outside my office building on Connecticut Ave.

 

Just about every day, I pass a LB/W MINI parked in a driveway (and once in a while on the street, right side wheels up on the curb). Once I saw the (apparent) owner, who just looked at me like "who the hell are you???"

 

Parked between HMS MINI and a dark metallic grey Mini in Cabin John last week. Mine still had VA temp tags on it.

 

TUrning left onto Greensboro in Tysons Corner, VA this morning around 7:45am and right in front of me were two Minis:

1. Light blue Cooper Convertible with Blue top, plates say XXSMALL
2. Black Cooper S with White top, plates say BLUDY EL

Unfortunately was driving my Acura at the time.

 

No!!!! Someone else has "BLUDY EL"? That's my mini's name, and I'm soon to have the DC plate BLUDY L.

My CR MCS is the good Spiderman and the black cooper S is Venom...

 

Since I won't get to use it (it was going to be my next VA plate), 'BLOODY L' is up for grabs in VA!

Got a wave from a CR/S MC this morning at the intersection of Lawyers & 123 in Vienna.

 

Walked by a LiB/W parked in the Friendship Shopping Parking lot. I was walking out of the Starbucks there - I may have been standing right by the owner waiting for my Mocha and not know it.

 

I saw a VR/W Cooper this morning about 10mins ago, you were driving East on Route 40 towards Joppa Farm Rd. and I was driving west, I didn't see you early enough to wave, but I did see you whip your ahead around as we passed each other

 

That was me!!!
