Jeremy - the next easiest way to tell is the taillights. If they are the older design (2002-2004) with an amber turn signal in the MIDDLE of the light, and the clear/white reverse light in the bumper, then the color is Indi Blue. If they are the newer design (2005/2006) with the turn signal on top and red (unless they bought the Euro tail lights like I did), and little white circles on the bottom of the taillights (reverse lights), then it is Hyper Blue. In 2005/2006s, the bumper will either have a red fog light, or a black plastic hole-filler.

 

Okie, then it was Hyper. . What was the darkest blue offered?

 

Space Blue. Only in 2006.

CR MCSc drove up my street today. I don't know if you waved or not. You drove right by my mini and I was facing the other way. I was replacing walkway lights in front of my house and I would not have even known except I heard the burble and turned to look.

 

I saw two 07's today on my way home from work. A CR/W and a DS/DS

No waves though.

 

I saw ACTL SZE today in Herndon coming back from lunch... you were so nice and shiny I was embarrased! I really need a car wash!

 

I saw a silver GP driving on rt. 2 north towards Annapolis around 12:30 this afternoon!! Honked and waved and recevied wave back!

 

Spotted Red/White with Virigina Plates on US 50 heading into DC with a stuffed MINI bulldog in the back window. It was a MC MINI. (4/6/07)

I was spotted without my MINI, walking over to Jefferson Memorial someone noticed my MINI hat, I missed three crosswalk lights chatting with the guy about his Classic MINI and other MINI talk. (4/6/07)

Forgot to post this one since I have been working all weekend...
It was so cool, but I NEVER got to totally catch up...DARNED Camary!
Ok, so I was motoring down 270 heading for the split, and I saw another EB/W infront of me (3 Cars) attemtpted to catch up, but a Jeep blocked the view, then I look out my passenger window and was How did that EB get next to me (2 Lanes to the right) and wait, it is an EB/B WOW Three of us together! It was so cool, I was waving but alas never got the ability to get their attention.. but I wonder what other cars were saying..wow three of the same color MINIs in one place at one time all going different ways! I had a good laugh and it really made me smile!
But then again, with what has been going on, I needed that smile!

 

GP spotted today about 11 AM-ish just outside of Columbia Mall! Tired to catch up, but we had to turn off before we could.

I'm kicking myself for not giving anyone a heads up! I know the 5280 group treated me great when I was there visiting! Next time I will remember! I know I enjoyed hanging out with the DC group one night at the Dragon. I'm the one that pitched in on the porch around midnight with the projector last year!

 

I think I saw you too. I was on somewhere I can't remember where I think on I 495 about to get onto I 95 and saw a GP. My co-pilot asked what makes it special.. That gave us somethign to talk about for a while.

Anyhow, it was a GP with two guys on it in the far left lane around 5 or so.

I live in Lexington Park down by NAS Patuxent River.

 

West Ocean City, MD....spotted and followed a BRG mini (yes...classic) When they pulled in to WaWa so did I. lol.....need less to say I gave them the run down of DCMM and NAM and flipped out a NAM spotter card.

 

Last Friday, I saw Wino heading west on Rt-32 between the BW Pkwy and I-95. No way I could miss those purple wheels!
