i was cruising along rte 59 near LBS (lake barrington shore) where i live in IL. and you waved at me. so sorry i did not make a mental note of the mini you are driving. i drive an 06 royal grey base coop. just wanna say thanks for the wave. that was a welcome surprise.

BUT... if you want that other MINI driver to read and respond, maybe you want to post this in your local forum. Unless you think the waver was on a road trip from DC.

Thanks for the card, I just got the R56 plate yesterday morning, it assumes at certain level of knowledge but still has a nice understated quality....my wife had the car, she had parked next to a yellow Hummer, another attempt at understating the obivious. See you around campus.

 

it's a very cool plate...gave me a chuckle when I saw it. What's even funnier is when I went back to the same parking lot around 5 to pick up a prescription, there was a CR Cabrio parked in the same spot as R 56. Gave me another chuckle, but then I chuckle easily.
Where in S. Park are you? We're in Round Bay on Old County Rd. We're a 2 S family ..my husband autocrosses his. Me, I just drive around leaving DCMM cards on MINIs.

What a week for 'Was It You's?

 

Actually, I couldn't take the winter grime on the boot anymore, so I escaped from work early on Thursday and headed home for some dedicated MINI detailing time. Fortunately, I usually get a nice, wide, covered parking spot at work--between it and the garage, I can keep her looking buff for several days. (I try to borrow my wife's car if it's raining.)

The CR with the checker roof made me wanna get a checkered roof too, I wonder what colors would go well with silver.

 

Silver and Frost checkered would be nice. It would give a suddle, but noticable checker to your roof

 

OK so I have two was it you's... The first one was a PW driving on rt. 2 south at 4:28 on Friday March 30.

And the second was I believe a solar red on rt. 4 north at 2:43 on March 31. Not bad pick-up for a non-S

Anyone know who they are or was it you?

 

saw a tricked out Classic Mini last night around 8:45 when i was goin to the Shell gas station in elkridge. i started pumping gas and actually he rolled up to me. we saw each other. I talked to him, and gave him all the NAM and DCMM info. Also i told him I would call him to let him know when some of our upcoming events are. Hopefully he will be here on NAM soon and see the posts.

IB/W or HB/W (i cant differentiate the two) Cooper on Route 40 around the 695 exits at 9:30pm last night. Used, but you just bought it from Heritage, since you had temp. tags on it. I flashed you from behind, then when I got next to you, you got the wave off 1st .

 

Indi Blue is more of a darker blue, while the Hyper is a brighter and lighter shade of blue.

 

Then I'm going to guess Hyper Blue...
