Spotted about an hour ago, at the intersection of Javier Rd and Williams Drive (behind my office): 2002-2004 IB/W MC (I think... might have been MCS) with a Union Jack flag on the roof. VA license plate: TOY4 MUM
Oxygen Blue MINI Cooper seen on 95 Southbound this morning at 8:25. Maryland tags "7AR S73". I followed you for quite a few miles before you exited (just before the 495 merge).

Nope. My girl's a 2005 Sunlit Copper MC Convertible. I live in the Howard County portion of Laurel and don't get down to South Laurel too often. (I do most of my motoring on 32, 95, and 495.)
If you're around town and happen to see me, send me a wave! I was in Baltimore Tuesday for a concert and saw four MCs, yet not-a-one looked my way to receive a wave.

I was pulling into the Exxon off 216, looked up and saw a Mini convertible coming out of McD's. I've never seen the Sunlit color before but that is what it looked like.

I wish I could say that was me, but I definately don't eat at McDonald's! Now if you're talking about the Exxon/Wendy's at Rt. 1 and Gorman Rd, THAT would be me! (Gotta love those Chicken BLT Salads!)

unfortunately, MINIs are so ubiquitous around here (Balt. - D.C. corridor) that no-one waves anymore. I gave up over a year ago I'm sorry to say.
Heading West on Dulles Toll Rd. today, ~6:15pm. I motored with a PW/B MCS JCW. You had your MTTS cling on the passenger window. I was in a CR/CR MC (Loaner car) heading to Sterling to pick up my MCS.

I would have to agree, I haved waved at 50 minis in the last six months and I would say 10 smiled and waved back. The rest either did not acknowledge or looked at me like I was green or something.
I'll continue to try, maybe they just need to be jump started
Apparently according to a young lady I work with that calls LA home (has an orange coop conv) told me that its a "thumbs up" around her streets and that most owners respond.
Lately, MINI drivers (ladies , in particular ) are spending a lot of time on the phone ... or at least so it seems.. no one waves but I see so many MINIs now that is not so special anymore.
