And, I am not huge on the black wheels, however, a set would be very fitting on this Clubman.

I agree, de-chroming will significantly improve the looks after the butt paint and tinting. Looks a lot better in black .

Now this is one car where I'd leave the chrome beltline, and I think black wheels with a chrome/polished lip would look cool!

What do you mean by blacking out the beltline ??
On Tuesday it will be going in to MOT to add on a checkered dash, checkered rearview mirror, checkered mirror covers, checkered door handles, checkered side slits, checkered rear boot cover, checkered JCW floor mats, lighted checkered door sills, lighted checkered rear boot sill and then a few checkered stickers from AC for the inside.
Then in a couple of weeks I will get black rims with chrome lips and a checkered perforated cover for my sunroof.
Then I will name my car .......... Chubby ( as in Checker )
