I don't know if I'm amused or frightened that you can move that thing around on furniture dollies, Norm.

i found them at harbor freight and the sayed "Mini Dolly" ......I sayed "perfect, just what i was looking for" ....lol.....they work great....even if the mini is complete with engine and all.....no probs.....i think they are 900lbs per dolly......if it falls and breaks something i can sue the company for false advertising..

With the engine out its probably less than 900 lbs total. I have the fancy harbor freight steel wheel dollys and they really arent any better than those wood ones.

Yeah you can roll around a complete mini with no problem. I can put my ranger on the steel ones which is 3200 lbs with no problem and a mini is about half that weight.

Yeah you can do it sitting in the driver seat with one foot Used to do it a lot when I snuck out of the house when I was a teen and didn't want to get caught

alright, so here is where were at, im gonna be pre occupied with some personal stuff for the next 2 weeks, but my friend will be finishing off the this and thats....all and all we have about 4-6hrs of body work left....sand doors, more shaping of roung butt, finish some other dings we found and boot lid, then we will wash the car down with wax and greese remover then spray high build primer, sand that and paint....sept. 1st was the first real day that body work actually began so, about 17 to 20 hard days of work and should be done with this stage....sucks that i have to take care of some things right now but i will keep you posted when my friend sends me pics of more progress.....p.s. bonnet lid is a fiberglass lid....i'm leaving the factory hinges in because im gonna make a sign that goes from hinge to hinge with my logo and info....pretty cool i guess...lol

Be sure to waterproof the backside of the valance panel heavily, especially at the weld. Water will creep under your filler and lift it. Maybe a thick coating of bed liner?

Hi..Norn may I ask why have you removed rear bumper flange is it purly custom or for a special project....................as IT ruins a mk1 shell as they are rare enough.............
