Nice!

Good to see you building a toy for yourself. I agree with keeping it simple and relatively OE. Done by this winter? Wow!

Cool! I've always kind of wanted to restore a car, but I know nothing about it so I've never wanted to dive in head first and try it. It's really neat for me to watch you restore this mini, it's like you're living out my dream. LOL!

i'm on a mission .......the hard parts is gonna be assembly of all the bits and pieces......there is some stuff i will have to buy and that might take time, but as long as i keep busy with this stuff the rest will be minor.....it might not be the way i want it right aways but, i will take car of that over time....(ie: interior, chrome, just the cometic stuff....) i have seats layin around, bumpers, just to get by.....but yep, movin along smoothly......floor will be done tomarrow (hopefully).....gotta pull the brake and fuel lines before cutting out the floor......i still need to come up with a rear seat bench, problem is the rear seat panel is a 1 piece through to the boot (bench, spare tire wheel battery box, is all 1 piece)

Looks like it's fixin' to be a great car :D --- can't believe you do all of this work by yourself. Very cool.

Have you decided on a color?

What do you do with the floor before Rhino-lining it?

yes it will be going back to original......not sure if it will be that way right away, because it cost a bit of money to re upulster and stuff.......but it will be dove grey with a black roof, red and grey interior, red carpet, and so on

If you're going back to the stock color, have you considered doing a TRUE "factory restoration", with factory-spec seats from Newton Commercial, reproduction head liner and all the trimmings? It'll cost more, to be sure, but it should SELL for a lot more to the right buyer as well. Plus, I'd love to see you do it.

If you do that, the interior would be white or the same dove gray, right? Rhino Coat is probably;y more durable, but it's not pretty...

ALso - is that a PLYWOOD rear deck??

Good save! Did you do a 110 point inspection to make sure it wasn't a revin?

not a re-vin, already went through all the details, gonna get the heritage certificate next.........as far as Newton Commercial interior.....if someone want to buy it for me, go right ahead.......i will get the seats done on my own to be similar......i'm not gonna sell this one, this is for me so i don't really give to much of a hoot...lol......the rear seat deck is being replaced......gonna take some fenagaling to do but, i will get around to it once i source the full rear panel needed....plenty of other things to keep me busy
