maybe i'll just gator guard the intire outside of the mini and be done.....that way if someone dings into me it will be easy to fix.....plus nobody will ever wanna buy it, and i will be forced to keep it forever....lol

 

here are sme sneak peeks of the mini i will be getting ....minus the minilites and rear side pop out glass.....after i get it running and fix the body damage it will be off for a/c...casue it is to hot in florida to drive with slide glass...lol

 

Man.. I think you made out on that deal. Probably straighten out the metal that is there without replacing anything. Does not look like it should have structural damage, even it it does they are pretty easy to straighten. You said this is a 68? I see they updated the tail lights. If you slide the front window back and the back window forward you get lots of air. If it ever is TOO hot to drive in it then it will probably overheat anyways, and add AC on top of that.. good luck keep the engine cool But man.. that is very cool.. and a great deal. What size is the engine?

998 motor, and yes i have never seen a rear wiper myself...lol

 

There were only 16k Mk2s made with 998s.

 

According to Parnell production figures for Mk2 998s are:

Morris Export - 4,458 Austin - 6,018
Morris Home - 2,770 Austin - 3,150

Total 998 = 16,396 of which 8,137 were 1968 models.

 

and this is prob the only one with a rear wiper....

 

i heard that rear wipers were dealer installed options. hopefully you'll keep this one Norm.

Is that a tilt bed or does it have pull out ramps?

My first trailer was a tilt bed but the weight of the car was over the tilt point before the rear wheels were on the trailer.

Definitely get the solid floor so you can haul all of your other crap with it too.
