If I hadn't just bought my 2009 MC and refinanced my house in the middle of an awful economy I'd be all over it... Sorry to see that Norm.

I recommend not dating that type of woman. She sounds terrible.

There will always be another car. So you are freeing up cash to move or are you not moving? Either way sounds like you have your hands tied for a while. Best of luck to you.

Things usually work out for the best. Who knows, maybe you'll be able to keep this Mini and your partner...

I'm very sorry to hear about your other's loss and can understand where she is coming from, but I would almost guarantee that relocating is not going to be the best answer for her. In the long run, she will regret it. Either the grandmother should be moved to where you are, or someone else should take over.

I applaud her for being brave and loving her grandmother enough to give up her life to take care of her, but I can promise that deep down, her grandmother would not want her to sacrifice the life she has built to to move across the country to take care of an old lady.

I know, because my grandmother told me as much. I lost her in June.

Good luck.

68 MK2.....has front end damage, and some other misc body work needed, but all and all i think it will be the better deal.....i had an cash offer today, but this deal works out best for both parties......he's doing a K series conversion so the fact that this is just what he needs, and i'd really hate to be without a mini AGAIN .....kinda fits to be the best offer....his car has been sitting for yrs, but he did drain the fuel and all the other important stuff prior to te sit....so hopefully i will be able to get it up and running within a quick period of time !!!.....i really didnt want to be miniless again....so im happy this is working out...

Very sweet! Cant wait to see pictures. Hopefully you can sort it out quickly and get it running..Mk1 stuff is hard to come by.. but from what I see I think Mk2 is almost as hard if not harder..

well the good thing is that everything is already there.....just need rear side windows and some other misc minor stuff.....but all and all shouldn't be to bad....just gonna do the body work, paint and drive....depending on situation.....might just cut off the front end and use a fiberglass front.....prob easier...even thought i hate the frip fronts.....might coe up with a more ideal way to take on and off the front clip....because the hinging and aligning of the frip fronts is a royal pain in the arss
