AMVIV 5
I just noticed that AMVIV week is also Easter week, which is also Spring Break for half the college kids in America!! Did anybody figure on this? The Vegas Chamber says it will be packed that week!! Ouch

Easter Week is un-do-able for us as I am a Pastor and that's one of our biggest weeks of ministry.
Last year Easter was on a different week so we were able to go.

Easter Sunday falls on March 23, 2008. AMVIV 5 will be from March 27 to 30, 2008. So AMVIV is the week after Easter, not Easter week, at least this year.
It is still Spring Break for many schools, though.

I'm presented with the same problem I was last year. The teams I coach have their National Championships the SAME weekend as AMVIV, in Vegas, up the way at the Orleans.
Anyone who wants to come on over, wear pink, and scream really loudly is more than welcome.
The issue is, afterwards there tends to be profuse drunkeness down in the casino and last year I never even made it out to even check-in for AMVIV. I was paid, registered, and never showed up
I'll make a better effort this year, I swear. Some of the...let's call them "instigators of drunkeness" will not be present so that ups my chances of making it over there.

I don't even have my Mini yet (due to come in next week), but I just booked my room at the Palace Station.
I figure I should be able to make it through the break in period before then. What better way to celebrate!

AMVIV registrations will open either over the weekend or early next week.
Vendor registrations will be open after the New Year sometime.
The group rate at Palace Station is more than 1/2 sold out, so if you're coming and don't have a room yet, you might want to get on that.
