Bad news for me...

So for the past couple of days, I checked the Owner's Lounge and saw that my car was 'awaiting transport' but i figured it might not be updated since I checked the WW site several times and saw that I was booked on TURANDOT. Well, I decided to check back on WW today and found out I never made it on TURANDOT I'm now supposed to be on FLASTAFF which I have no idea when that departs. This just completely ruined my day.... (sigh)... I guess I just have to wait for the next boat...

 

Wow, do you mean that WW site told you TURANDOT and now is telling you something different? That sux, man.

I suspect that since you were looking at the TURANDOT that you are west coast bound? The ship prior to TURANDOT was the ISOLDE, and there was a two week lag between the two ships. I hope you don't have to wait two more weeks. Good luck with the patience; I know, I'm freaking out and my friends all think I've become an obsessed nut job. Ok, I was already a nut job, but now I'm obsessed.

yeah..for at least a couple of days it said TURANDOT on the WW site... and then I check today all of sudden it says FALSTAFF?? I couldn't believe it.. Yeah.. I really hope I don't have to wait too long, but I checked and it looks like FALSTAFF is somewhere in Germany right now (I'm guessing the UK is the next stop)??? oh man... somebody just knock me out and wake me up in about a month!

I never was told my production week by my MA, but my little bundle of motoring joy is on the Turandot, so I guess this is where I belong. I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to get from the VDC to my dealer, since I'm already planning a series of trips up and down the coast.

Congrats to you east-coasters who are already getting yours. Remind me to move to the east coast next time I buy a MINI.

I just got the scoop. My MCS will be delivered to Princeton MINI next Tuesday late afternoon. The earliest I can take it home with me is early Wed. Pretty strange. I would have thought that Monday would have been really do-able given when Integrity came in. The only installed option (which is done by the port) that would slow things down for me is the iPod adapter ...

SIGH. So, for reasons that I will never understand, my MINI will take several days longer than I would have expected. I can't say that I'm all that pleased.

Hopefully, all of you will get yours sooner than this.

Finally got to take delivery of my Clubman also! Was a rainy day but after we got the car it all started to clear up. Road trip back to CO in the morning from NY so it will be broken in just around the time we get back.

hang in there! slight 9 day delay. but look at it this way: you have a little more time to do/prepare for things that the ones who got it earlier should've done sooner.

 

 

booyun - you and I ordered the same car except mine is a Clubman. we'll have to post pics when they come in to compare. I'm on the Elektra which is due into Brunswick GA on the 7th. projected to pick it up sometime around the 14th.

 

Easy now ... take in DEEP breaths, in through nose out through mouth.

The NYC Metro area MINs are are not on the Integrity anymore - they were taken off Monday/Tuesday. The cars are ALL either at the applicable VDC or the dealer for all of us (except the one very lucky guy that got his last Fri).

So ... even if the Kracken or a giant Charybdis swallowed up the Integrity (and your MINI), it happened AFTER docking in NYC and delivering our cars.


All is FINE, I assure you - the ship is out there, delivering smiles one happy MINI at a time.
