I just called and spoke to Meg at Ask Mini as she said my mini is scheduled for week 16 production!! Let me know if any of you are in the same week so I have someone to wait with!

 

Guess I'm the only one so far! But not for long I hope!

 

I've been trying not to look at the OL or call AM every day to make things go by faster. What do you guys do to keep yourself occupied for the wait time? I'm planning on taking a lot a weekend trips...to keep myself busy.

 

How long after you called did it show up in the owners lounge. Also when did you place your order.

 

It showed up in the OL the next day. -with the wrong specs but that's not uncommon. (I ordered 3/25 possibly 3/24 if the dealer was nice enough to do it that day.) Are you in week 16 as well?

I just checked the OL and they finally have my specs right! Hooray!

nuts...well even if the OL is still showing on order, I'd call ask mini because they know better and in about time your club will be scheduled for production.

 

I ordered my mini on 24th, order went in the same day, showed up in OL 24th also with some incorrect info. but now it's still not scheduled for production. I think i might be in week 16, I'll have to call on monday n find out.

 

Yeah you should call and find out if you're scheduled for week 16 production!

I actually just called ask mini (I'm limiting myself to once a week...) and the girl there gave me my VIN number and she said my MINI looks like it actually got bumped up a week...she said it's getting ready for assembly line, and to give it 5-7 days until it goes through the assembly line!

I actually might not be week 16 after all!

 

I called as well, they said i might be a week 15, but not confirmed yet, I'll know for sure by Friday.
I'm so lost, week 15 is this week, isn't it???
I guess I'll call again tomorrow.

 

btw, what did you name your mini?

 

I just found out I'm week 16. They said I'd get an exact date sometime next week.

 

This week is production week 14, so if you're in 15 you're starting sunday!

Oooh, I just found out I've actually been moved up to production week 14! My mini is actually in the paint shop right now! Yay!

 

My MINI just entered production, scheduled for completion 4/17 (1 week!). Any other week 16 MINIs going to the West Coast?

 

 

I'm week 15!!! finally it's confirmed. but I called yesterday, no word on completion date yet. but they did say scheduled completion was yesterday =.=lll but i can't call during the weekend... so gotta wait till monday

 

My clubman is scheduled for completion 4/18!

 

I ordered on 4/5 and on Friday 4/11 my MA gave me the production number. I called miniusa and they told me the car was in the paint shop. Then I checked online and it says "Scheduled for Production"; I've read in other posts that the website is often not up to date, so I'm concluding that it is in production right now, though I will check the website every day! I am thinking this makes me "week 16" but I'm not sure.

sfomini, I think we are in the same boat as you...or at least we ~will~ be in the same boat. We ordered our Clubman on 4/5. Went back to the dealer to make a change to the order and were told that our car was already in production. He checked the system and it said ours was in the paint shop as well on 4/12.
Good news, because we weren't expecting production to start until the end of April/beginning of May. Bad news, because now I have to retrofit the rear fog light option at my cost and effort.

Just called today, and was told my Clubman is in the paint shop!

I was told back at the end of March/beginning of April that my Clubbie was scheduled for PW 17, but called ASK-MINI yesterday and found out that it started production on the 13th!

Guess that makes me a 16er!

Now I have to find out if my last minute additions (sunroof and auto AC) made it in time...

 

The dealer said they have a 2 week shutdown at the production line coming up, or at least his allocations showed a two week gap in the production runs. Perhaps they are trying to push some cars through early (by moving up some orders) to beat the shutdown. Perhaps some of these cars are "taking cuts" in line.
