WOOHOOOOO!! Although that ETA date worries me now... only 19 days out at sea?? Whereas TURANDOT is taking 21 days? Whats the deal? Am I the only one on this ship that it can cruise that much faster!! Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Word of advice for my fellow week 16ers: When you pick up your car, make sure to drive it at night as soon as possible. I didn't realize how cool the car looks in the dark. wow. Where is the drool emoticon?

I just hope the boat arrives on time and we can get delivery before the 31st. I'd like to take our Clubman with me to the Street Survival School and wring it out a bit.

and in regards to 17, i was just asking everyone in general. seems like they are quite busy in there....

 

I go back and forth b/w wk 16 & 17 since I believe I was born w/ all the 16ers..but most likely shipping with 17ers... anyways..that wk 17 crowd is a little coo-coo for coco puffs i'm not sure what they are talking about half the time! haha...

anyways, week 16 is definitely a crowd...keep up the good work fellas! and thanks steaming for keeping this place in order!

 

GREAT Clubman Fenway! Its great to see everyone starting to unite w/ their MINIs!

 

For me, awaiting the Independence II's arrival in Charleston, the silence reflects the dark ages between cruising up and down Chesapeake Bay and offloading to the VDC.

 

Seeing others' deliveries does give one a sense of hope, however......

 

well...we're all friends/family here, so hearing & seeing someone picking their MINI is a real joyous occasion. plus like danhen said, it gives the rest of us something to look forward to real soon. time goes by fast.....

i won't be around for part the 2nd half of saturday til very early sunday (i'll be in SF for the kids in the hall show), so i hope someone here can keep track of stuff while i'm gone. because i won't be able to do proper posting from my blackberry.

 

I got an email from my MA today with a screen shot of the BMW/DCS showing that my MINI is scheduled to arrive at the dealer on Sunday. However my MA said they are closed Sunday and that it would probably be Monday before it gets here. Are deliveries made after hours? Do you think their is a chance the delivery driver would offload my MINI Sunday and be on his way. I can't see the driver hanging around a whole day just to offload on Monday especially since the BMW/DCS states the dealer delivery as 5/11. I may have to steakout the joint Sunday evening to see if I can catch a glimpse of Santa.

 

bummer..... i guess we'll be hearing from you on monday. just hang in there...

 

I've updated the list - I'll post pics when I can. I bought a serious detailing starter kit from Octane .... oh this is gonna be fun!
