I emailed my MA this morning after hearing yours called to say yours was done. I'm still waiting for him to respond to an email from over a week ago with a pricing on clear bra and tint.
Still haven't heard from him, so I called ask-mini and got word mine is all done! He said it's either in transport, or getting ready to be transported to the port.
So now I get to keep checking the WW site with my VIN to see if it makes it onto the ship leaving on the 22nd. Here's hoping!

Yours is going through Baltimore, right?
No, I'm in NYC.
I think there's a boat leaving on the 20th for NY/NJ but my car will won't make that one.
It'll most likely be on the Fidelio leaving on the 29th and getting here 0n the 11th.

Hey guys. I just called ASK MINI and they said my car is in the paint shop. I asked the rep about it still showing completion date of 6/19 tomorrow! She said that it very well could be! Fidelio, Fidelio, Fidelio!!
Automated this morning said she's in the body shop with estimated completion of 6/20 so fingers crossed she finishes up tomorrow and is able to make the Fidelio on 6/29!
Incidentally, Ask MINI automated was telling me a status of "scheduled for production" with and estimated completion date of 6/20 from 6/10 to 6/18 with the "in the body shop" message coming up only today (6/19). So basically it gives you just enough information to drive you nuts without giving you all the details you so very much crave!
Well my impatience got the better of me so I called back to speak to someone and she said that Bubs is showing as in the paint shop but she couldn't tell me where in the actual production process that is (i.e., where in the production timeline painting and what phases come after). Anyone know what the difference is between body shop and paint shop or are these both referring to the same thing?

So it will go from basic "scheduled to production" to then "In the body shop". I assume that means it's actually being assembled. Then onto the Paint shop, then it seems to remain in that status (In the paint shop) through final assembly, which doesn't take long.
So really, the information is accurate. It just takes much longer to gather all the components for a build, than actually assembling the vehicle.
It's funny. In the thread under First Gear, some people really seem to fly off the handle if they call Ask-Mini and can't get exactly the information they want. (As in, exactly what pieces have been put together so far.) :D
Watching the process is fun, but man, some people get a little scary. :D
Well, from the information given in the "How to track your mini" thread, the longest part of the production process is gathering all the parts that are needed for your car. That can take up to 5 days. Assembly itself takes about a day, then paint, then final assembly.

Unfortunately, I think the easy part is over. From here on out, it's just a matter of timing, and I think the statuses are going to be tougher.
You figure within two weeks of placing the order, my Countryman was fully built.
Now it's in a status of, "Your Mini has been released to a carrier and is awaiting transportation to the port." I believe it will stay in that status until it actually hits the port? If so, it could already be in transport, it could be waiting another week before it begins the journey to the port.
So now once a day I'll probably check the WW site with my VIN to see if it shows up on a ship. At least once it's on a ship I'll have a good idea as to when it'll hit Baltimore. And then, once again, just gotta wait for it to get through VDC and shipped up here. At least I'm not far from Baltimore, so that shouldn't be too bad.

I just called ASK MINI and spoke to a rep, my CM has completed production and went through a QC check this morning....so I am in the same pattern as you guys now waiting for transport to the port of exit! FIDELIO FIDELIO FIDELIO!!!
Pardon me, but how do I check on the WW site with the VIN? Ask mini says mine is being transported to the port of exit today.
) ship from Bremerhaven Germany.
So I should definitely be on the Aniara leaving Bremerhaven on the 29th, Southampton the 2nd, arriving in Baltimore on the 10th.
Ya...the CM ships out of Bremerhaven Germany, but it makes a stop in Southampton before it heads towards the US!
Its so fun to see you guys so excited for your new cars! I just got the call on Monday that my car is here...hoping to pick it up tomorrow!

Looking forward to seeing your photos

Ask MINI automated is now saying she is being assembled, which is a bit confusing to me since it said she was in the body shop yesterday. I would have thought body shop and then assembly?
At any rate, it is still saying estimated completion date for today though, so fingers crossed!!

This status could mean final assembly. The system can be slow with updating, so it may have missed the "paint shop" status.
Mine is now enroute to the port! Should be landing in Baltimore on the 10th. Would be cool if it gets here on my birthday on the 14th, but very unlikely. :D
As long as I can get it before I leave on vacation on the 21st, I'll be happy. Won't want to take it on a lo trip that soon, but at least can get it home and in the garage.

As of this morning Ask MINI automated is telling me the same thing. Hopefully she will get picked up with the rest of you guys' that have been finishing up these past couple of days and will make the Fidelio on 6/29!
