Same here. And the funny thing is, even though the WW site has confirmed I'm on the Aniara, I'm still checking the OL to see when it updates. :D

 

It's just insane. I pull up the marine tracking site almost every hour...

 

My MA just emailed me about the car being on the boat, but she's saying that the ship should get here on the 11th which is old info. The W&W site now has the Fidelio scheduled to arrive on the 12th.
I guess I should add a day to my estimated pick-up date of the 18th.

 

Who gave you the estimated pick up date? OL? Or MA?

I'd think that would be a tough one, since we're again waiting on variables. My MA did tell me that once they got my Mini on the lot, it typically took 3 days for the to get the paperwork in order to title it, from the VDC, which is snail mailed. That seemed odd to me. Not that 3 days is bad.

Right now I have 10 days between the date mine should hit the port in Baltimore and when I leave for vacation. Will be cutting it real close. I'd probably prefer it come in while I'm gone, so I'm not tempted on taking it on a road trip that soon (plus need to at least get the clear bra on before a road trip).

If that's the case, I just hope they don't let anyone test drive it while I'm gone.

 

The MA gave me the pickup date, but she did say "around" the 18th which is an even week after she thinks it will arrive in NJ.
OL still has it at the port in Bremerhaven.

 

I stopped by my MINI dealer and spoke with my awesome MA today. He had his print out of vehicles incoming and their status and of course mine was listed. He said my MINI should be ON THE TRUCK on 7/11 I said are you sure? What ship is it on? He said that he can't tell what ship it is on but is scheduled to be on the truck on 7/11. I noticed that the DON JUAN arrives into Brunswick, GA on 7/9....but could it really have made it on the DON JUAN which left Bremerhaven on 6/20??!!!???

 

I know you saw my CM today then. It is parked in the showroom in the middle with the roof rack on.

Yes, I looked at it for a bit....looks sick! Love the roof rack and the tunnel spokes....bet it is killing you!

 

I bet it is more painful for Moritz since they have had all but sold inventory collecting dust..... On the flip side the body shop swears this week is it....

Yeah, its weird because Marco says they have been slammed the last couple of weeks, but yet I see the same cars in their inventory every time I stop in.

That is what I was thinking....there is the Dover Highway that left Bremerhaven on 6/20, arrives Brunswick on 7/5. Also the California Highway left Bremerhaven on 6/27 and arrives on 7/11...but that is the day my MA says it should be on the truck.......how could it have left on 6/20 if it was only completed on 6/19? Hmmmmmmmm....

 

I think a very large percentage of MINI sales are orders that don't always show up in inventory. I know the dealers tend to order cars with what is generally the most popular options according to marketing, but I wonder what their actual percentage of spec sales are. My first MINI was a spec car and they were worried it wouldn't sell having blue leather and orange fabric. So they can stretch now and then.

The ship tracking is pretty funny. On the way to the port, the Aniara had to get around a HUGE group of ships.

It's no longer in range, but the last location shows it with three ships pointing towards it, looked like it was surrounded.

I'm convinced the Somalia pirates got it.

RagnarDanneskjold, How did you confirm your car was on the Tirranna? When I call it still says at port but it has been at port since 6/30. I was just curious.
