My car is at the port waiting...and Topeka arrived in Bremerhaven today! I hope mine gets loaded.

 

OK, when I checked WW this morning and the Fidelio was still showing as a 7/12/12 ETA, but I just checked again and it is now saying 7/13/12!

My MA told me that it can take 3 - 7 days to get from port in Jersey City to dealership in Westchester but that it only takes one day once he gets the car before it can be turned over to me so I was hope, hope, hoping to pick Bubs up on 7/20. Unfortunately due to work schedule I never get home before the dealership closes so Saturday is really the only day for me to go unless I play hookie from work (and considering I just got back from vacation that probably wouldn't be the smartest idea). Fingers still crossed for 7/20 but I won't be surprised if I can't get her to 7/28. Sad

Nice!! I stopped by my MINI dealership today and my MA said Kawby is on the truck and scheduled to be at the dealership the week of July 23rd! I will be on vacation until the 28th then leave again early on the 30th until August 6th...at least there will be one day in between where I can go check him out. I won't be able to take delivery until after the 6th! :(

 

Finally got confirmation that mine made it on the Talisman. Should be in Baltimore on the 23rd. Can't wait!

 

TIRRANNA is on the map again just south of Newfoundland heading SW en route to Baltimore. Expected to arrive Monday 7/16!

Will probably drop off the map again in the next 12 hours so take a peek quick if your CM is on it and you need a fix!

 

OL finally updated to show that Waldo is at the VDC. Now comes the tough part. The longest stretch with very little updates available.

But it shouldn't be too long now.

So jealous!! I emailed my MA this morning and he said he wouldn't have a delivery date until Monday or Tuesday next week. I am really, really, really hoping to be able to get her next Saturday, otherwise I will have to wait until the Saturday AFTER that. I don't think I could stand all that anticipation

Lucky you guys live right in NY/NJ. My car comes into the Brunswick, GA port and has to travel all the way to Texas....probably stopping at many different MINI dealers on the way. Week of the 23rd is when my MA said it should be at the dealer. Killing me!!

 

So wouldn't you know it. I just got asked to drive to Baltimore Sunday afternoon for work. Will be there through Wednesday.

I wonder what the chances are of me finding out where the Baltimore VDC is, and seeing if I could swing by and do some in person stalking.

 

Your MA is probably just playing it safe and doesn't want to give you a date until the cars get checked out at the vdc. My MA did say she'll let me know if there are any delays, so Thursday's not set in stone.
6 days seems like enough time as long as it checks out ok at the vdc.

 

The Newark VDC is about 20 min away from the Manhattan dealership.

You have two CMs?

 

They unload the MINI's at the Ceres Marine Terminal just west of the 895 Harbor Tunnel. I don't know how close you'll be able to get to it. The TIRRANNA (red & white WW ship) will be unloading on Monday (with my CM!)

If you go, snap a pic and post! I thought about doing this too, but that pesky work thing is keeping me from more important things such as this.

 

Well, I emailed my MA to see if I could get info on the Baltimore port, and he responded. Not gonna work out. :(

Waldo arrived at the dealership today! I pick him up on Thursday!

Moritz is usually lucky enough to have full trucks, so little to no stops. Usually if there is a stop it is one of the other DFW MINI/BMW dealers.

Woot! I am so excited I sold my 2010 Mazda 3 S! Sold for $14,150.00 and my payoff was $14,178.00, cha-ching!!

Such a relief because I didn't want to deal with a trade in that they already said they wouldn't give me more than 11K for!

My MA still says Kawby is scheduled to be here sometime next week and I'll be on vacation starting this Thursday until the 28th, then I have to leave on the 30th until August 6th for a work trip. Looks like I'll be waiting until I get back from that trip for delivery!!
