Ask MINI says that Bubs is finally at the port and awaiting a shipping vessel, but that no shipping information is available yet. Hopefully there is room on the Fidelio for her!

 

Anyone know how often they load Countryman's onto the ships? For example, WW shows ships heading to Baltimore from Bremerhaven on 6/29, 7/1, 7/4, 7/10. But I can't imagine they have enough volume to load CM's onto every boat. For efficiency's sake, I would think they would wait until there are X number of CM's all going to the same port (where X is a relatively large number).

I know there are a lot of folks hoping to get on the Fidelio on 6/29, but do we know that she'll be taking any CM's (or will they sit at port for a later boat)? That said, I too am hopeful. This morning, ASK-MINI said my CM is en route to the port of exit. So IF the Fidelio takes CM's to Baltimore, I hope mine is on it!

 

I don't see why the ships would take only a min number of CMs. They're loading at point A and unloading at point B regardless of how many Minis they have. Besides the Fidelio stops at Southampton to pick up some little guys after Bremerhaven.

 

I can't think of any reason why they'd just leave CMs sitting at the port when a ship is actually stopping there. All ships go from Bremerhaven onto Southampton, where they'll pick up other Minis. I would assume CMs would make it onto the first available ship heading to the port they need to go to, and wouldn't just keep waiting until so many CMs build up.

Also, as for the Fidelio and Baltimore, the Fidelio doesn't go to Baltimore, it stops in NY. The next ship leaving Bremerhaven that will stop in Baltimore is the Aniara that also leaves Bremerhaven on the 29th, arriving in Baltimore on the 10th of July.

 

Looking at Google Maps, the NY(NewarK) VDC is on the same dock as where the vessels arrive.
My CM arrived over the wkend & is in the VDC. I hope to take delivery on Th/Fri
I'd luv to do a road trip (700mi) this wkend but I'd rather get some local(varied) milage on first.

 

I may have a similar dilemma in a few weeks. Mine "should" hit the port in Baltimore on the 10th. I leave for vacation (driving 6.5 hours to the beach) on the 21st. I'd "think" mine should be in my possession by then. Not only would it be cutting it very close (if it even is in my possession in time) to get the clear bra installed by then, not sure I want to take a brand new car on a long road trip days after taking possession.

I don't think it'll change until the they are half way across the Atlantic.

 

my CM is at the VDC & will likely be going to the dealer today. ASK says its still awaiting transfer at port. The ASK rep told be a few wks back that their data only goes as far as the port. The OL will have further updates(but keep in mind these are aprox 1-2 days behind actual status).
your MA will have the latest updates.

 

Hey there, I thought I would let you know that my CM left Bremerhaven on 6/16 and arrived in Baltimore today.
I will let you know how long it takes for it to get to Pittsburgh dealer from day of Port arrival once I find out.

 

Please do, as mine will also be coming to Pittsburgh.

 

Sales said the car should arrive at the dealer today. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow or Saturday.

 

My '12 CMS is in production and scheduled for completion on 7/4 (yay 'Merica!)...how long till it ships and then how long is the trip over?

 

Assuming your car will be coming through NY/NJ the next boat after the 4th is the Topeka, leaving Bremerhaven on the 11th and arriving on the 25th.

It looks like we're going to be tracking the same boat. I got the exact same date for my CMS. Mine will be bound for the West Coast, but I'm excited to finally have something to track. Hopefully we can catch that 7/10 outbound boat. Anyone else in the same timeframe?

 

ASKMINI says my CM is at the port awaiting a ship--a quick 19 days since my order was placed 6/9! Hoping to get on the Aniara leaving tomorrow.

 

I should be picking up my CMs4 tmrw from the dealer. woot!

Car just arrived at the dealer. Picking it up Tuesday as it's a long weekend and I still have to get my car inspected for a lease return. Can't wait!

How often do you lunatics call ASKMINI? I'm finding the OL very unsatisfactory.

 

Looks like the Ariana got delayed a day. Now it's showing as leaving Bremerhaven on the 30th, arriving in Baltimore on the 11th.

I guess on the plus side, that gives me an extra day to sell my car. Turns out the guy who was going to buy it, needed to sell a car first. His deal fell through, so now he can't buy mine.

That blows...oh well better off may come in. I am really hoping my CMS leaves tomorrow on the Fidelio as it has been sitting at port for a week now!

 

According to the marine vessels tracking site, the Fidelio is docked in Bremerhaven!!!

 

Mine has been sitting at the port for about 8 days now after having finished production on 6/14. It better make Fidelio tomorrow.. although W2 site still has no record of the VIN.
