We picked-up our CM yesterday from the dealer. The OL listed the car as being in the VDC until last night - now lists the CM as at dealership. Our MA explained that the OL is "a little behind."

 

Clear bra? Never heard of such a thing. Sounds like a good idea. Will discuss with the tint shop...

Did any of your CMs that were completed on 6/18 or 6/19 make it to the port of exit yet or are you still at waiting for transportation to port of exit. Mine was completed yesterday and automated Ask MINI said she was released and waiting for transportation to the port of exit this morning so I'm curious as to whether there was a pick-up in between that she missed. Thanks!!

 

Mine's en route. Mine completed on the 18th, and the system was updated yesterday morning saying it was on it's way to the port of exit.

Hoping to get on the COURAGE sailing from Bremerhaven 7/2 or the TIRRANNA sailing 7/4. I think the ANIARA sailing 6/29 would be too optimistic! All look to take about 12 (+/- 1) days at sea to Baltimore.

 

Mine finished build on 6/14 and only just now arrived at the port and is waiting for a vessel....so, I guess it didn't make the 6/20 departure and I now have to wait for the 6/29....can barely wait to lay my handles on my CM!!

 

Jasontom - I love the Mini Connected with Nav! Although...I got a bad Y-cable so my connected isn't working at 100% yet. I am using the white apple cable for the time being, but that doesn't transmit sound. So...I'm waiting for a new cable from my MA. Apparently it is a known problem that some of the Y-cables have problems connecting to Mini Connected but not that many cars have Connected - so its hard to weed out the problem cables. The cable does transmit sound, but that's it.

The Nav is good...but it has a learning curve especially if you are using the voice commands system.

As for the AC it is performing awesome! I can't stand it when its at its coldest. So it works well!

 

Mine made it onto the Taipan on 6/20, which is fine because it'll arrive well before I'm back in the states. Where I'm mildly interested is the options listed on the "Review Order Details" tab on the tracker at the Mini Owner's Lounge. It's got the correct colors & transmission, but that's it. Is this typical? I seem to remember something similar occurring when I ordered my BMW, but it still makes me nervous because I'm kind of picky when it comes to this stuff (isn't everybody here, though??)

Has anybody ever had a problem with their car not showing up exactly as ordered?

 

Mine was blank 2 days before the production finished, the it had the right options, the ones I'd ordered. I've never heard of the options being incorrect, let alone missing. However, ol has been getting worse and worse lately, so may be just something with the site?

 

Update: I called ASK-MINI again this evening and my status has been updated to en route to port of exit!

 

We ordered our countryman on 5/2. Now its on the boat Parsifal bound for Baltimore eta 6/27. Hoping to get it before the 4th of July holiday. Cant wait!!!

 

Mine is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel! Should be heading out on the Aniara on 6/29!

No real update on my CM, but got a good offer on my A3 today, so pending the payment and all next week, looks like my car is sold!

Its great news because today was 105° and yesterday was 103° (record high temps for this area). So good AC was much needed!
