yeah yeah yeah....the wait is getting closer to finish!!! Just check the OL, it show "Awaiting Transport" wee wee....................so exciting!!!

 

Mine has been "Released to Carrier," according to Ask Mini, but my OL still shows "Scheduled for Production." LOL. The OL is SO ridiculously behind for me it might as well be useless. My CM was finished 2 days ago!

 

According to AskMini mine was released for transport yesterday, and the OL just updated to match. This was not true when it was in production. It took a week for OL to match AskMini.

Oh well.

 

Well, the Mignon has been in port at Gothenburg, Sweden for the past several days....

 

The Mignon is underway for Bremerhaven. Due to arrive tomorrow (Friday)morning. Guess it does not take long to load up the cars, as it is scheduled to leave Bremerhaven on Saturday.

 

My CMS has the same birthday as I do!(11.08) It's been sitting at the port since 11.14, seems like it missed the shipping vessel on 17th coz 1800-MINI still says it's "waiting for shipping vessel". Does anyone live in NYC or east coast got his/her car built around the same time? I hope it will be loaded on the vessel leaving next week, finger cross!

 

Ours was born on 11/06 and was waiting at Bremerhaven until the Glorious Leader left on 11/16. That's 10 days after it finished production before it got on a ship. Yours can't be far behind. Check with WW to see if it's on the Courage.

 

Believe mine was born on the 11th and thinking the Topeka will be the next ship available to NY. Leaves 11/27 and arrives 12/14

Topeka leaves Bremerhaven on 11/23, Southampton 11/27, arrives NY 12/7.

 

Ahh -- You are correct! I was looking at the Bremerhaven departures for some other (southeast) coasters and totally spaced on the lack of an NY POC.

You may also want to check the K-Line schedules.

 

Supposedly they no longer use K-Line to ship the MINI to the east coast. I have heard that from many different sources including 2 dealers. Looking at the current WW vessel schedules, almost every ship from Germany is stopping in Southampton and most of the newer car/truck carriers have capacity in excess of 6000 vehicles so I think there is validity to WW as the main carrier. My 2 cents.

 

I tried to track mine on WWL's website using the VIN number, but nothing showed up. Did anyone have the same problem?

 

All three also show arriving in GA also. Do they swing by NY first?

The Mignon sailed and my VIN is not coming up

Can anyone confirm if their VIN pops up on the WW site for shipping to Port Hueneme on the Mignon?

 

same for me! tried pasting in the VIN and nothing comes up. hope i am on board......

 

It takes a while after the ship leaves for its manifest to update. Don't lose hope yet. It may take anywhere from 8-24 hours for the cargo manifest to come up. I'm hoping mine got on the Courage this morning, but either I didn't make it or its cargo manifest isn't updated yet, so I feel your pain! Check later tonight and then again tomorrow. You may be surprised!

I read from another post that the slot had been booked before the car was being built. I've tried since 11.8 (the birthday), but no information could be found on their website. But I will keep trying, hope one day it will show up!

 

Do they stop in NYC before they arrive in GA?

+1.MIne was released to shipper today and I am hoping it made it aboard the Mignon. Hate to think of it sitting there waiting for the Dec. 3 ship.

I shouldn't be too upset though as I took delivery of my MINI Convertible Thursday. We've already bonded from the drive home.

Nice to have a MINI back in the garage. I sold my Clubman a week ago and it felt so strange to be down to 1 car. On the trip down and back the CUBE (my other car) had its windshield broken twice with rocks flipping up from other vehicles. Already had a new windshield installed. I was just happy it didn't happen to Mad Maxx.

Now the wait for the Countryman will keep me awake at night.
