R60 2012 Countryman on order!
I hope you guys all made it on the Mignon, but I've tracked three cars from Southampton and all of them showed up on the tracking website before the ship left the port (give or take the one hour delay mentioned on the WW tracking website). One thing though. Try going back to Customer Centre page (http://www.2wglobal.com/www/customerCentre/index.jsp) and reopening the Track and Trace page from there. I found that a few times the Track and Trace page didn't refresh unless I did this and I got a "No Record Found" message, but when I went back to the Customer Centre page and reloaded the Track and Trace the record for my my VIN showed up. Good luck! Mine is about halfway to Port Hueneme on the Torrens.

Also, what timeframes are experienced in Southampton don't necessarily apply to the port of Bremerhaven. This may be especially true of the time it takes for the WW systems to receive and update the data. Note that the information above was only available after the GL had reached the North Sea shipping lanes. Verification of this delay was made by the MarineTraffic site and the various reporting points with time/date stamps shown on it. The WW info appeared about 6 - 8 hours after the GL left the dock.
You can go to WW's site and track the specific voyage with all ports of call for each ship. And yes, it appears they update their cargo manifest with VIN's about 36-48 hours after they actually load the vehicle.
I hope you are correct on the VIN updates.....
That may be a bit off. Mine info was available about 6-8 hours after my ship left the dock at Bremerhaven.
same here... I checked and my CMSa's VIN on the WW site and it's not there... sucks... I was so looking forward to getting the car before year's end....
Don’t despair…yet…correct me if I am wrong, but your Countryman’s VIN begins with WMWZC3C5? If you put that in to the WW site it shows all of the Countrymen for 2012 and that it hasn’t been updated for vehicles loaded since 11/18, and ships have left since then. Furthermore if you click on one of the 11/18 VINs, you will see that the ship really left on 11/16! If you can’t tell, I am a bit obsessed...

I just checked again and it shows a vehicle VIN that is 50 less than mine (I knowthat means nothing, but...)being loaded onto the ship in Bremerhaven on 11/18...
I just checked the status using WMWZC3C52CWM in the 'Cargo ID' field - this identifier should be for ALL 'Countryman S - Manual Trans'.....so maybe the are just slow in entering the data into the database......
Update...the VIn I checked was loaded onto the 'Integrity' headed for Baltimore. I can't find any records for anyting being loaded on the Mignon....

I have done some research into how VINs work and the Countrymen start with WMWZC3C5, the "2" in yours is a "check digit" that is based on a formula for the rest of the number to confirm the accuracy, but the CWM portion will be for the manuals. Mine is actually WMWZC3C53CWM.
I know, I need help...

Ah, I figured it out. The number for auto trannys is
WMWZC5C58--that pulled up 491 VINS.
Nice touch. Thanks Guys!

For automatics, you should still be able to use WMWZC3C5, but I think that the CWM portion which are characters 10,11 & 12 would be CWL for you, from what I can tell. Does your VIN not start with WMWZC3C5? If not, try the first eight characters.
Mine is not on the MIGNON. It looks like it will be on the OTELLO. No worries.I just took delivery of my R57 Convertible last Thursday so I have something to keep me busy and satisfied until the CM arrives. I sold my Clubman 2 weeks ago so I am just elated to have another MINI in the garage. I felt lost with only the CUBE out there.
I loved my Clubman more than any of the 18 cars I've had, but had to face the reality that I can't keep and drive 4 cars. However, I seem to have already bonded quite well with the cabrio!
I must be missing something on the WW tracking. I don't see going to Brunswich GA.
***** Never Mind. I figured it out. Didn't realize the ship stops in Baltimore 1st then makes a drop off in Charleston SC then it finally makes it to Brunswick GA.

Cloud10,
Can't keep and drive 4 cars? It really isn't that difficult. With 2 drivers I figure I should be good with 8 vehicles with the changes of the seasons. My main issue is parking space.

My VIN ends in 12518 and still keeping my fingers crossed that it is loaded on the Topeka tomorrow since the WW site shows 12485 waiting at the terminal to be loaded. I figure with a capacity of more than 6,000 cars mine has a good chance to squeeze into the cargo hold.
I am still impressed how quickly my convertibles made it here. My first one took less than 4 weeks from computer to my driveway and the 2nd convertible took just over 3 weeks.

Checked again this morning.....
I see nothing showing up as being loaded on the Mignon or any other WW ship headed to Port Hueneme. Not a single Mini.
So this could mean that no Mini's were loaded on the Mignon, or they have not updated the database yet....or....???????
Did sme more snooping on the WWl tracking site, and I found 3 identical vehicles with VIN's within 50 of mine (26756, 26771 & 26772 - mine is 26813) and they show arriving at the port on 21 Nov (yesterday)....so mine might not even be in port yet....getting bummed. Hope it arrives before my Motor-Tober coupon expires..... :(

Now at 4 weeks and she's still waiting transport. My MA tells me there's some sort of "world wide" shipping problem and yet I see others on this site that ordered same day as me, 10/01/11, and are now taking delivery of their CM on Monday. My baby is still sitting at port
Has anyone waited this long?? Anyone heard of this "world wide" shipping problem?

Mine was completed 11/8, and has been "awaiting transport". Ask Mini tells me that they have no further information. Looking at WW for VIN's that are close to mine, it looks like all of them are on their way to the East Coast. Does that mean that WW does not carry CM's to the West Coast, and I'll be on the K-Line ships with no way to track?
To complicate things, the K-Line schedule does not list Port Hueneme as a destination for any of their ships, but that is where my CM is supposed to enter the US. WW does list Port Hueneme, but the ship currently on the water does not have my VIN, and the next ship is leaving 12/3, almost a month after my car was complete. And my MA has no further information, other than "awaiting transport".
