Great news, I did get an email from my MA that my CM is on a boat, still doesn't show on the website but it appears to be on the way

 

It looks like Figaro's arrival into Baltimore has slipped from 12/3 to 12/4 to 12/5. Looks like the weather in the Atlantic isn't that pleasant.

Oh well, I guess it is positive that at least we are on a boat!

 

2 extra days.....say it isn't so. Must be something about those maiden voyages. Just steer clear of the iceburgs! Thanks for the update.

 

I need help getting to the Don Juan's cargo list. I put my VIN or even partial into WW's trace and I'm just getting old data ... nothing since 11/23. Any tricks I'm missing?? I'm really hoping Boomer is in Don Juan's vessel and will be part of his load.

 

I think it is the weather. It seems like a lot of the schedules have been pushed 2 days recently.

 

Since it hasn't left yet, I would not give up hope until Friday. Even if it has been booked, it doesn't seem to show up until after the ship has left port. For mine I was booked on 11/18, received at terminal on 11/21 and loaded on 11/21. The booking and receiving info didn't appear until 11/22. The loaded info didn't appear until 11/24.

Where did you find that info? Is there a place to view the cargo inventory of a specific ship?

 

The booked, received and loaded info doesn't show up until you select your VIN once it is in the system.

 

And your VIN will most likely not show up to be selected until Don Juan has left the dock.

For those of you waiting for your Countryman to be shipped to the West Coast (Port Huaneme), I found out from my dealer today that mine is on the DORADO LEADER which left on 11/25 and is currently in Southampton. It's due to arrive out here in 26 days. My Countryman was born on 11/10.

 

Finally after waiting and searching for a few weeks my VIN was "received at terminal" as of 11/29. Hopefully this means it was loaded on the Don Juan that left on the 29th!

 

Confirmed that mine is on the Don Juan scheduled to arrive NYC/Jersey City on the 14th. Hopefully it takes less than a week to install the driving lights and add the sport stripes. Should have it in time for Christmas!

that's what I heard from my MA as well.... I've been tracking it since yesterday and marinetraffic.com is saying it's out of range... so I guess it's out in the wild blue yonder..... Let's hope there's no more delays as well as the VDC getting backed up so we can get our cars before the end of the year....

I am guessing the prior voyage landed in Halifax on the 7th. If it isn't too personal, any reason why the delivery is taking place in 3 days from now? Was there a delay at the VDC? I'm hoping to get mine before Christmas with a 12/14 port date.

 

Mine's on Topeka too, but I thought it would be arriving 12/07. (they put the day before month).

 

No worries! Yes, you're right, my car arrived in Halifax on the 7th. The lease on my current car matures on Dec 23, so technically I'm returning my car a little early. This also gives my dealer some time to order and install the JCW Aero Kit

I was also trying to avoid installing winter tires on my current car, so I can return it in its original form. It's getting cold awfully fast here in Toronto, so Dec 3 is the best I can do on summer performance tires

Plus, hopefully the lease rates go down in Dec, so it's a win-win to delay the delivery.. in my case anyways.

 

Woohoo! Just learned that we are on a boat due into Port Hueneme on December 15th, and should be at my dealer around the 20th!

 

which ship is this? is it the Dorado Leader? I was told it will be in Port Hueneme on the 21st.....

 

My MA call me this morning and told me my car is on the boat. Hopefully we are on the same boat.

 

Still no word from my MA after one week of trying to get a Bremerhaven or afloat confirmation.

It's tempting to give him a taste of his medicine and not call him back when it's time to hand over the check.

 

Forget previous message, finally got an email saying my CM is on the Dorado Leader as well. Expected delivery will be between XMas and New Year. WooHoo!!!
