Not yet. My deaker offered us the Tire/wheel protection plan at I believe it was $1600 but said we can negotiate it. I found the other plan that I want to talk to them about. If I can get it for about $1500 it just might be a good deal .

The Mister, who's in the car business, says he doesn't want to buy another MINI at this point because we live so far from a dealership and he doesn't want to keep a car that goes out of warranty...

Update, I just got a call from my MA. Our car started production today! So we are a bit ahead of schedule.

Our 2012 Mini Countryman Manual All4 (silver, black bonnet stripes, black wheels) is out of production and waiting to cross the big waters (hold off the hurricanes please) and then its all down hill to the dealer in NC. Can't wait for Bigga to meet his little sister, our current 06 Cooper S, Checkmate.

For those with a CM on the Tugela - it docked in Baltimore harbor this morning!!! My ALL4, Light Coffee should be traveling to Indiana later this week . . . . (I haven't decided on a name yet. Feel like I should meet him/her 1st and let it develop naturally from there :.)

My car finnished production on 8/28 and was sitting at the port since 9/1. Still no update on a ship, ol and mini-hotline still says its at the port. Did anyone's car make it on the platinum ray? im hoping there is just a lag on updates as were others on the toscana...

My MA called from Dreyer in Indianapolis. My new CM is already on a truck and headed to Indianapolis from Baltimore. According to the MA it will be the 1st 2012 CM to arrive at the dealer this model year
. It is possible that I'll be introduced before the weekend, but not guaranteed :( but it is getting closer to a reality. Been a long 12 weeks since ordering but I'm getting excited (little girl squeal if appropriate!) Patience is not my strong suit . . . .

My 2012 is at the dealership! My MA sent me the email today and said he would be calling tomorrow to schedule pick-up. They need a day or so to detail and service it. Am I one of the first people to get their 2012? I will report back with photos. thoughts, etc.

haicu, my CM should be on the Platinum Ray, too, but the OL still says "awaiting", so I'm hoping it'll update and show en route in the next day or two. Days sure seem to drag by while it's sitting at port...

Skids looks like you will be the first! You should take a drive over tonight and snap some preview spy shots hehe. Mine has been released to the carrier and is awaiting a 2 hr ride from the vdc to the dealer

Thanks. That tells me alot! I will be cautious. Since this dealer ship is 60 miles away and the next closest is more than 160......I feel kinda stuck. I live in the sticks. Guess we will see how it goes.
