The car is just beautiful! I went back and forth between the cosmic blue and the surf blue. After seeing yours, now I wish I had gone to Surf. I had always wanted a midnight blue car, though; so here I am, not so patiently waiting...

 

My MA says my car will be at the dealership the middle of next week. Guess the estimated date of 9/14 was incorrect (obviously). Almost as long to get to the dealer as to get across the ocean!

 

I'm happy to report that Mickey is home safe and sound. He's tucked away in the garage for the night. I think my car's pretty similar to Skids, just with different options. I'll take some pictures tomorrow!

The wait is over!!! my MA emailed me today and my countryman will be at the dealer monday, estimated 2 weeks early! pictures soon on the pictures thread.

Congrats, Enjoy!!!!! Mine just got off the ship in NY yesterday. might be another week or two until it gets to the dealer in NJ. (I hope not!!!) Can't wait to see those pics.

 

Wow, it's great seeing you guys get your cars. I must say I'm a little jealous.

 

My Cooper S Countryman All4 is currently on the "Florida Highway" on the atlantic. Am trying to find a good way to track it but with no success. I downloaded the Shipfinder Hd app on my iPad but it does not have this vessel in it's database. I'm told that it should arrive in Georgica on 9/21 by my MA, but can't find a way to track it. Can anyone help?

I did a drive by today and my car is in the dealer lot! It wasn't there at about 2:00 yesterday, so must have come in after then. Hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday I can pick up!

 

Hi everyone, I just ordered a 2012 Cooper S Countryman All4 in true blue. Our MA, Mark Smith at MINI of Fairfield County was great! He was very patient and spent a good deal of time with us. It was really a pleasant experience. I look forward to learning more about MINIs (our first one) on this site.

I wish I'd of read your thread before I ordered my 2012 CM S ALL4, as I would have tried to actually negotiate, instead of just accepting whatever price they pooped out - ooops I mean popped !. I'm also annoyed because the MA didn't show me the complete option list for 2012, and only changed my 2011 configuration after the fact to conform to 2012, although there wasn't much else I would have changed anyway, although I would have considered the bench seat. All in all, I feel like my MA could have done a better job walking me through the car build process before I placed the order - starting with the anthracite headliner thingamajig. I also understand there is something called a "MINI Yours" option series for 2012, it would have been nice to have had the option to consider this before ordering. My dealer is MINI of Morristown in NJ BTW, and I could've gone to another dealer if they didn't want to negotiate, too.
